Those of you in the comments bashing - this was when they'd JUST started opening up to wider audiences. They've grown so much since then and their voices fit together as well as bigger bands. See them live and then decide, you won't be disappointed.
This is a great song. The lyrics are epic, and the music fittingly eerie. This performance isn't as bad as the people in the comments would suggest. They're tight musically and in tune. Their natural singing voices aren't as pleasant as what we get out of the studio, but still...
I actually think this is a great song, and I'm a musician myself, who doesn't normally like these kind of bands... I'm into Rory Gallagher if we're talking about pure guitar-driven music, Bob Dylan and Nick Cave if we're on the subject of lyricism, and the Beatles if we're on about melody and arrangements... But this quirky little tune caught my attention when I heard it at the end of episode 7, season 3 of Wentworth, the brilliant Australian TV series based in Wentworth Women's Prison, a fictional prison in Australia. silverrock Wouldn't have heard it only for Wentworth, which I found to be the most entertaining series I've seen in YEARS! Respect SilverRock :) From Davey in Éire.. (Interestingly, the show is named "Wentworth Prison" in the UK and Ireland for some reason, don't know why they changed the title.. :/ I still just refer to it as "Wentworth" though!)
the chick is hot but sorry cant sing and the back ground singer is way louder then the front singer. not only that they both out of tune from each other and it just sucked they had no corisma or any feeling in that ... it was flat..... only good thing is that chick is hot looking...

I think it's a bad sound engineer, her mic should be much louder
