Now this is actually a pretty good version of the classic WOTW. I've been a fan for a long time and I have just watched all of this. Well done to all involved. I could criticise a few areas but why would I. I couldn't do any better. Great show I wish I'd been there.
Im guessing this is the official package that you can pay to perform? I thought you got lots of samples to use with it? Especially the Ullas! Also really impressed you performed the missing songs that were only in the Dominion show. Really great! Excellent drumming too!
things: 0:02 - eve of the war 16:33 - horsell common and the heat ray 28:14 the artilleryman and the fighing machine 39:44 - forever autumn 47:51 - thunder child 57:45 - the red weed 1:04:32 - spirit of man 1:16:19 - the red weed part II 1:21:46 - the artilleryman returns
1:25:12 - brave new world 1:38:36 - dead london 1:42:48 - dead london part II
I'd love to go see this in person some day - I've been a fan of the album since it came out, I had it in vinyl (wish I knew where that was now) then got the CD when it came out.
@@vicentehizon6202 If I remember from what I read once, Jo Partridge managed to get that sound not only with the Talkbox, but all his strings on the guitar were tuned the same.

Considering this was done on essentially a high school budget, well done!
Thanks - the budget went to Mr Wayne
That ulla was very funny

A copy of the LP version just sold on Ebay for 77¢ -- but there was a $15 P&H charge! (You can't win...)
I would to the names of the extra songs. Beautiful!!
If I’m being honest, this is actually a really good production, better than Scamilton, obviously.
50:32 just for the the eargasm at the amazing guitar and music.
This is great. Just wish you had a better way to the ULLAs, and also had a model or a picture of the tripod.
@HyperFreshVR. Details please. Who, where, and when was the production? Inquiring minds want to know. :-)
Whats the song that started playing after eve of war i dont remember it being in the album
34:02 that's not how you do the Martian's howl. Sounds better if there was a voice modulator or something
You actually use a talk box ( an instrument which is a tubing hooked onto a microphone you operate with a keyboard and you pronounce vowels)

Omg how cool :D
33:55 another good part tbf
How much did cost to get the rights to do this❤️♥️❤️♥️
A lot, Jeff was very generous with letting the organisers do it.
Hey, do you know where they got the rights to do this? Jeff Wayne himself or some licensing company?
it was Jeff Wayne himself.
THE REAL BATTLE BEGINS 34:17
this old show
No-one has topped Richard Burton and to think I found Liam Neeson's performance perfunctory. This just shouts amateur quite frankly.
34:02 the f*ck sound that not tripod alien that sound human wtf
I hate this show and it’s awful I hate it 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
no one cares what you hate! Why are you even here if you dont like it?
