I was there that night, an amazing performance.
I am not a fan of Jason Donovan but he is superb as Parson Nathaniel.

@@neilmurphy966 There's currently two different DVDs - one of the first 2006 show, and one of the 2012 show (which was Jason Donovan's first appearance as Parson Nathaniel). Assumedly you have the 2012 show.

They couldnt do it in some venues either. They kept it for some venues and didnt for others.

@@paigem951 all the music its too modern it ruins the intensity plus Liam Neeson's delivery is nowhere near as chilling as Richard Burton's and for me Justin Hayward is the only man that can sing Forever Autumn. I saw the show in 2009 before the new generation hit and it was amazing but not anymore

I'm a massive Phil Lynott fan - but I beg to differ regarding his performance on the original - I thought that he overacted .
We will never return in 2006. Tara Blaise and Russell Watson performed a real drama. And in my point of view nobody could make it so.
