How a video should be done for those with no or little experience in dealing with boards, lights, wires, etc. I struggled for months and advice given was as if I was an electrical engineer and not just a newbie. I recommend you add labels to all your electronics stating the max voltage for each for future use as you may forget. Blowing a board becomes very costly. Great job!
3V3 will be a 3.3 volts power supply if you need it. The V for volts is used to replace the . as printed small on a board or in a schematic it’s really easy to miss it.
May I ask how the usb power supply is going? I know the website recommends not powering it that way but I’d rather not have to wire one in if I don’t need to.

what is that little pack you are powering them with? I might need a new set soon and I don't want to use AA's if I don't have too.
I’m using a little usb battery pack. Since this video I’ve upgraded to a R2D2 USB battery.
any link? Would be nice to abandon the AA's and apparently 4AA's wasn't enough to power it on. @@Cosplayvicar
