What a nice video. I went to this event driving all the way from Switzerland. I have so many good memories of Duxford from my years in Cambridge in the 1990's.
@@Avi8Jack It was an absolute treat like always. Duxford has one of the best military and civil aircrafts museums and airshows worldwide. I will go to Axalp as well, but this year already.
I was there on Saturday I loved it all every bit was my fav I couldn’t have got a better early birthday present and I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a best bit 😅❤😂
The DC6 is glorious, what a pretty aircraft and a paint job to suit it.
Agreed, it’s a beautiful machine and sounds great too
Love p40s, also amazing video, and the timestaps are bloody useful!
Yeah love the livery on the “Lee’s Hope” P40, great sound off them too! Cheers much appreciated, agreed especially when it’s a longer video!

I hope it was worth the drive! Can’t wait to visit Switzerland for Axalp next year, such a beautiful country

@@ade-1772 I totally agree. Lovely plane to see and many people still enjoy it.
Morar Circle
A great show yesterday with blue skies and sunshine
So I heard! Glad the weather picked up, Saturday wasn’t great weather wise, thankfully stayed dry though
I wad in the museum with the SR-71
Likewise - it was my first time in the actual museum, great collection and variety of aircraft!
My plane is the one they defended the white cliffs of Dover and I am from stoke on Trent and where the man himself was born thats the clue
Where was you on the site? Looks a good spot, we struggled to find somewhere ok to get good taxi pictures
I started next to Sally B then moved along to the East side of the airfield where the flying bulls DC-6 was parked
@@Avi8Jack I see, never thought of going that far down, I'll know for next time
@@Avi8Jack is there a map to find this location? be nice to go to that spot for the battle of britain
@@godgrant123 If you google ‘Duxford visitor map’, it’s basically at the bottom left of that
Sally B and her little friend....... aaah.
I'm guessing this was Saturday not Sunday :(
Yeah Saturday, was a great show but the weather looked so much nicer on the Sunday
@@Avi8Jack it was! I actually got sunburned slightly which literally never happens. Shame we got no Dakotas though, not really
Lol so did I on the Saturday as I burn very easily even if the sun is behind the clouds
Did the Daks not fly by on the Sunday?
Well compiled and shot...I was lucky to be a spectator in the same show
Thank you very much, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
Really is something else seeing these aircraft in person!
Absolutely, videos don’t do them justice!
i was there both days with my boy !!
A great experience
Glad you both enjoyed it!
@@Avi8Jack Thankyou ! It was fantastic !!
It was a great show yesterday wasn’t it
I only went to the Saturday show but I heard yesterday was even better, especially since the weather was a lot nicer, glad you enjoyed it!

That’s great what an awesome present! Did you have a favourite display?
@@Avi8Jack honestly probably anyone with a spitfire in but overall phenomenal
@@dreadleo768 hard to beat the sound of a spit, glad you enjoyed it
@@Avi8Jack what was your first bit tho
I’d have to say Sally B and P51 display - was my first time seeing that and didn’t disappoint!
I was there
Hope you enjoyed it! Did you have a favourite part of the display?
