How about a few more larger functional cargo/vehicle bays which are not just purely cosmetic and add functionality and stats to your ship? Something with proper large bay doors and ramps instead of just those small boarding airlocks. Besides, this vehicle clearly was just an afterthought by Bethesda and only added after the massive criticism from the community. Can't really expect them to properly integrate it into the other game modules, which would take some care and effort.
Elite dangerous designed their ground vehicle with wheel thrusters that boost you slightly into the ground to reduce the floatiness and increase grip on surfaces (Tho this doesn't work if you deactivate drive-assist which is what most ppl do) Something similar would have made wonders here but I guess devs just forgot about low gravity.
I used to watch a bit of rallying and Dakar so low-grip and low-G planets are a lot of fun. They are a real PITA for setting up photoshoots where the buggy needs to be at an exact location and orientation. Using both boosting thrusters at the same time will give massive air.
Certainly feels like we are in Early Access, there are also all the implications for the infrastructure on planets and in cities, i really hope that the dlc accounts for this and that we maybe get a rework of some areas like new atlantis, a car port/loading/parking area would improve the immersion of the whole city by quite a bit.
Yeah, the game still feels barebones AF. And quite honestly, there's no way trying to fill in the emptiness and missing features via Creations will work out. This game still needs a few years of additional development and content DLCs before it even begins to come close to the quality and value other similar games offer.
I like the Rev-8, it's fun and easy to drive, with or without gravity, my only complaint it doesn't do any damage running over humans or bugs. It makes sense if you drive out to a location, you'd have to drive it back, maybe if you abandon it, you have to buy another Rev-8. There's a couple of options in settings that might make it easier for you to drive it. One option lets you steer it in the direction the camera is pointing, the other lets you drive in any direction and aims the gun in a different direction, good for strafing, but it also can steer the vehicle, takes practice. With my controller, I steer with my left stick and control the gun with my right stick.
Hello everyone, I have a request... Make an option in the game menu so that you can turn on the video of the ship landing... This motivates me, makes me more interested in playing the game... Would love to see a vehicle bay hab for outposts. Perhaps you can buy a 2nd vehicle for an outpost with different attributes to fit the planet, and have it always stored in the vehicle bay when you arrive. Or just have a giant garage with 30 vehicles like Jay Leno

Tickets are acquired as the player progresses through the Grand Prix repeatable Story mode. In the Garage section, players can create a machine with three custom parts or print emblems on any vehicle. From watching this, they should have just made it so we can fly the ship in atmo and land where we want. AKA, still have the load screen from space to planet surface, but just let us fly around and pick where we land manually and even add a loading screen when you hit the invisible border to load the next tile/fishbowl instead of having that stupid landing/takeoff movie. That would have been so much better and be a decent middle ground for the loading screen situation which will never go away, because of the engine limitations.
