There was one case of supreme court (Prathibha) wherein it is said that all gold ornaments which the wife receives during marriage be it from any source it comes under stridhan. Is this the correct law. In one case Husband's mother had put some gold ornaments to daughter-in-law in the wedding hall now daughter-in-law is claiming it to be her stridhan.
