Good morning, dear brother! Glad we could share this little bit of tranquility (but I will add that after 13km of rock-hopping thru that gorge, my legs were done in!). The music is a piece called "Mind Stream" and the artist is Chris Haugen. (Thanks, RUclips!) Looks like he has a website at chrishaugen.net/ if you want to look up more of his music. Wishing you a good week ahead! Chris, & Norann
Not sure where you live, but if you can get to one of our communities, of course you're welcome to visit! Take care, and keep encouraging the people around you. Blessings. 🙂
That art work will attract the bugs, which then attracts the birds. There are very popular where I live as my house backs on to a conservation area. They have brought many British birds back to our doors. A true blessing
Indeed. We saw some beautiful wedge-tailed eagles too, but didn't capture them on camera. Your poetic comment made me look up the origin of the Gwydir name, and here's what the Australian Electoral Commission has to say. We love that there's an Indigenous meaning to the name: Named after the Gwydir River which was discovered by Allan Cunningham in 1827 and named after Lord Gwydir. Coincidentally Gwydir is also an Aboriginal name meaning 'river with red banks'
Hi Wayne - and happy new year to you! The place is called Kalang and it's on the Gwydir River above Copeton Dam. You can get there from the Aberdeen Rd, off Thunderbolt's Way. 4x4 vehicle recommended, unless you enjoy a nice hike.
How lucky are we to live in this prime example of God's beautiful nature??
lovely guitarwork...thanks
Beautiful music and beautiful images of an ancient landscape imbued with peace

Interesting!
Beautiful. Thank you!
You're welcome - glad you enjoyed it!
I love the name Gwydir. Reminds me of Gwaihir, one of the great eagles in Tolkien's fantasy. Nice video and thanks for the wholesome guitar music.

Hey how far a drive is this from Coutts Harbour?
Around 3 - 3.5 hours from Coffs Harbour, mate.
