A classic by EA Games (back when they were good...)
The fighting was challenging but very satisfying upon winning a fight. I also really liked the gangsta crime story in this!

Fun fact- My dad and his dental co-workers had Snoop Dogg himself as their patient five years ago. Yet despite his weed breath, he allowed one of the surgeons to have a picture with him.

I always used to think there was a way to save your character's girlfriend, imagine the disappointment when an alternate ending didn't exist.

Honestly this is probably the best Story Mode in a fighting game.
Ahh yes ain't nothing more satisfying than throwing crow through the window😌 love this entire story man, well written and well executed, this is what modern day games are missing, meaning, fun and substance, love this game from start to finish , these are the types of games you can say hands down 10/10 ,this game was literally made perfect, absolutely no faults and def jam icon was supposed to elevate the series even more but it flopped big time, so far this is my favorite series from you man, well done! On to the next! Great job will!
Thanks! Really enjoyed this and was nice to return to another classic, especially with a crime story. At times it was very challenging but always rewarding!

God, I've seen that fight a LOT, because my cousin or brother used to keep playing this part and keeps losing. XD
Because a lot of times I've seen Blaze being damn near useless because of his random AI, forcing you to a damn near impossible 1v2 when he is KO'd. However I did see Blaze last till the end before, but it's quite rare.
On my first playthrough that fight took me about 20 attempts! 😅
I like the death scenes
Danny Trejo was killed by an oncoming subway train
Sticky Fingaz was killed in the burning warehouse
and now, Crow was thrown out the window and he falls to his death.
Well, Sticky Fingaz got what he deserved for betraying D-Mob's crew out of jealousy, and Trejo... not much to say.
@@luislopez3726 I agree with you, Sticky wanted to fight Fat Joe, but Fat Joe would have destroyed or most likely killed Sticky, so Hero was chosen instead
Honestly, I would have loved for this game to have a sort of open world feel to it, but yeah, this game, the way it is, is perfect.
I honestly got some old school Saints Row vibes from the cutscenes. Really enjoyed the crime story aspect and would have been nice to run around a district of New York, maybe getting the subway to each venue. :)

Def Jam said they had an announcement to make about the game ages ago when their Twitter hit 1 million followers & they never made one.

I was impressed by how Crack (Fat Joe) and Magic (Busta Rhymes) turned against Crow, especially by the fact that Magic told Will where they kept his girlfriend (Carmen Electra) and refused to shoot Will.
Nah it’ll always be funny on how Snoop (Crow) sees you about to shoot the gun and he just starts pleading “aye hol up! Hol up! Hol up!” 🤣🤣 like bro all the bad shit you done did and now you scared that it’s about to come back on you???

Once blaze gets knocked out and you got a two on one you might as well start the fight over cause the fight is just nonstop grapples and submissions after that

This and Re4 on gamecube definitely my 2 favorite games growing up.
Only if sticky fingaz kept his cool and didn't go insane that fight with him could have been avoided 😎🔥

wait why you not lose when blaze got submit? i remember in ps2 you need keep blaze alive. if he got k.o you will lose and game tell you to rematch.
Every time I've played this Blaze always gets beaten. I thought it was how the mission was scripted.
@@Willzyyy it's possible to keep him alive but you have to keep switching targets mid fight and run over and kick whoever's on him off it's not worth it honestly.
@@axel76767Not necessarily. You just need to focus to beat Crack as quickly as possible. And *don't ever* let Crack and Blaze fight each other. Otherwise, Blaze will be knocked out easily.
Let Blaze and Magic fight each other, because Magic's just gonna try to submit him, giving you some time to beat Crack.
