Hi Sharon. Thank you for all the videos that you have created thus far. Personally I have found them extremely benefitial and I am sure that I am not alone in that. I've just handed in my final psychology assignment today and now it's a case of waiting for my result from the Open University. You have a very genuine and down to earth approach to your videos that resonates well with me. I hope that you can continue to release content relating to your career experiences as it really does help. In relation to your current video, watching you is helping me stay happy during lockdown :)
Hey Daniel! Thank so much for this comment, it really means a lot to me to know these videos are helpful. Congrats for submitting! What are you plans now you've finished? Do you think you'll apply for an AP post?
@@SharonB I literally just sat down at my PC with a protein shake and some almonds and then got the alert that you replied, thanks for replying, it has made my day : ) I really wish I could apply for an AP post like you, but I don't have your experience yet unfortunately. I'm 29 years old so I started studying a little later than most via distance learning with the Open University. I do have a decades worth of retail experience though, sales assistant to management in a customer facing environment. I would have liked to gain some experience working with vulnerable people during that time looking back, but with a full-time job which I needed to pay the bills and a university degree I couldn't find the time sadly. My goal is to become an AP and then hopefully go on to complete the clinical doctorate, however, in the short term I was hoping to find a full-time paid job to boost my experience to make that AP position more probable. The problem is I need to find something that covers my bills and gives me relevant experience. I was leaning towards a support worker role, but with the impact of the coronavirus at the moment I am not sure how everything is going to pan out. Anyway, enjoy your day :)
7-9* hours recommended sleep 😊 I’ve also stayed away from the news since beginning of April as it was driving me insane haha. Another one is - stay away from social media or limit it as much as possible 😂🙈
