@@user-zn9ke8um8sin other languages like Italian, Portuguese or Spanish we don't have a different word for fingers and toes(it's the same word), so when we try to speak English we have that problem very often....
For English speakers the problem comes with the articles because you only have "the" for everything(very easy, I like it 👍).... and we have masculine, feminine, plural, singular, indeterminate articles...
anyway languages are difficult 👍

We call big toes thumbs in Czech. As well as we say “palec na noze” talking about big toe, translated as thumb on a leg, however ofc exact translation doesnt work

In most languages there is only one word for finger and toe. So we call "toes" "foot fingers"
