magnificent! but is this a true remaster from tape or is it upscaled from HD with software only? either way this looks great! thanks for sharing. I have been loving this performance for more than a decade!
Yes it is a bit of an upgrade isn’t it, especially when compared to the same vid on Belle Perez’ own channel :-) This is just an upgrade of the DVD using software. The original concert was filmed in HD, and would look even better than this if it were re-released or someone could access the master tapes, but the chances of any of those happening are just about zero, so it looks like this is the end of the line.
WOW, I just compared the image quality to the RUclips vision from ( ruclips.net/video/Xealjv3Sqfs/видео.html ) the original concert and the added clarity is outstanding even on a HD monitor, this just inspired me to upgrade my desktop screens to 4K, Beautiful song, Beautiful singers.
Check out my channel for other 4k remasters! These are done on a 13” MacBook which has a good display @ around 2k resolution (and they look great on that!). While they are true 4k, if you are up close to a 4k monitor the limitations of the source files may be more apparent.
