it can be a bit confusing, maybe try using a stitch marker to help you keep track of your stitches! magic circle is also confusing but i feel like after you get it once it'll start to click 😁😁
I made one in black colour 3 months ago for my friends birthday for the first time i gave him the keychain tho we met nd knew eachother for like 1-2 days i was soo dumb to give that instead of that i should've gave that to my cousin...but anyways he has that keychain on his bag so it's ok tho i hate him 😭 but today i made myself beige colour same shown in the video... it's soo cutee i was freaking out how cute that looked on my bag 😭💗
For everyone saying that they end up making a square, you’re mostly likely accidentally skipping the stitch after the ‘points’. Just pull it a little back and make sure there isn’t a stitch hiding. Also count stitches without a stitch marker simply count the total number of stitches and make sure there is the exact number (15 for row 3, 20 for row 4 etc) before going into the next round
inc means increase, which is like putting 2 stitches(depending what stich like, hdc (half double crochet), double crochet (dc) ), increases can also depend on the pattern like, maybe the pattern tells you to put 3 dc(double crochet) increases in one stich which means you put the 3 dc in one stich,
@@_aleixafu_4745 hdc mean half double crochet, yarn over, insert stitch, yarn over pull, there will be three loops then you yarn over and pull all three loops, sorry for my bad english!
*Written pattern:*
Terms:
mc = magic circle, sometimes called magic loop or magic ring
st(s) = stitch(es)
slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc into the same st from the previous round)
rep = repeat (if you see asterisks * * that means to repeat the section within the asterisks)
(parentheses) = denotes either a total st count for the round, or that the sts within the parentheses are placed into the same st
Using worsted weight yarn (exact brand in video description) and 3.5mm hook
Making the star base:
Make a magic circle (mc)
R1: 5 sc into mc (5)
Close mc and continue working straight across (NO sl sts or chaining; you can use a stitch marker to help you track the start or end of each round)
R2: inc in every st from prev round (10)
R3: *sc, inc * rep until end of prev round (aka x5) (15)
R4: *2 sc, inc * rep until end of prev round (aka x5) (20)
R5: place (hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in the same st as the last sc in R4, 3 sl st, *(sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc), 3 sl st * rep until you have 5 "points" of the star, stopping before the last sl st to fasten off w/ a long tail for sewing
Make 2 stars
Using the tail and a tapestry needle, sew the stars together (wrong sides facing each other) through the outer loop of each st (see video for visual/more detailed explanation). Pause at the top of the third "point" to attach the keychain. Pause before the last "point" to stuff the star. Continue sewing the rest of the way. Weave in loose ends.

Could you please upload next tutorial if you have time? Because I love your coquette aesthetic videos!!😅❤
Is it necessary no not sl sc? Or chaining every next round? 😅
the how a tie bow link is wrong, it opens up amazon 😭😭
If I want to make it bigger, what should I do?
increase yarn size
u can inc or use a bigger hook or change yarn to 8ply or smth
I am trying to pull the string to form a small circle but it's not working it keeps getting stuck somewhere. I don't know what I am doing wrong
I think you might need to crochet less tight, try to loosen up your stitches maybe
Pull the string out of the whole first then try pulling see if that works
in row 4 it's make sc 20, are the 2 sc in same stich? please answer😢
You make a single crochet in 2 different stitches than you add 2 stitches on the third st (inc)
what im doing wrong when it turns inside not straight?
why did i end up making a square helppppp
What if i want to make it bigger ?
you can use a thicker yarn and larger hook
why can I only make 4 beams?
Samee😢
TYSMM this was so easy and it was adorable 🥹💕
