I have the best soulution: RC Era should replace the stock RTF transmitter with the Radiomaster TX 16 and sell this package fort lets say 200 $. I would buy it at once. Even if its a limited edition of 1 piece (just for me) 😂 I don't understand it as well and you made NOT sleep for the next nights! Ali, I just love your facial expression whenever you say "Optical flow" or even better when you touch the (next) ready to fly plastic transmitters for the growing mountain!!
Thank you for the info, I haven't flown R/C since 1996 and things have sure changed. I love the new gyro and gps features that make flying hellis easy.
Is it possible to put on and off the optical flow? Maybe standard its out on the stock and on your radio. I know, sounds strange, but perhaps the stock radio puts it off when binding.
I've had a few oopsies in mine, so now after flying for 30 seconds or so, it starts shaking, which gets progressively worse until I have no control and the things starts gaining altitude until it's stick on the ceiling, lol. The only way to recover is to hit the kill switch and start again, I'm flying with my TX16S BTW, so I have a kill switch setup it. My C138 didn't come with OF, but I've bought the OF module separately. I've had the C138 apart once already, just so I could see if I could spot why it was shaking and I wanted to see if it had 3 servos, which it does. I will need to open it up again today to fit the OF module.
Could it be the head speed? I turned the head speed down on one using the stock radio and it made the heli perform so much better. It didn't hunt around and toilet bowl anymore.
@alishanmao does it say RC era in the menu or anything like that it has a multi protocol module in it thanks it sucks without it you can't even take the stabilization out of it....thanks man!!!
I always do the Sticks Calibration Before every flight on the Stock Radio. Helps. If I get up to head height, it starts losing position hold and drifts. What % on Throttle Curve on TX16S are you using?
Love this helicopter great review I have had a dozen fun flights But now for some reason rotar starts as soon as battery power button is pushed and remote will not turn it off Any ideas to fix this Thanks
I have notice people are getting rid of there other controllers. And i think it because radio master is far better that the other dedicated controllers. Where you can only bind one brand. With my radio master i can fly futuba, eflite, blade and other brands stopping the monopoly on dedicated controller that are upwards of a thousand dollar with the same option as the TX 16 radio master at the quarter of the price. As always great video mate, peace out.
it's got brushed motors so it's not going to deliver much 3d worth doing anyway. the old mcp x and nano cp x from blade are better for the job and even they're weak.
I have the c123 and found the optical flow sometimes works, other times doesn't. It actually seemed far more effective after I had a crash. Seems to be the general consensus as well, it's just buggy. Along with the auto-inverted...not so reliable and now I'm getting parts because of that unreliable crap. I'd rather just do it myself, it was all slow and sloppy when coming out of inverted.
I've got the jet ranger 1..... It's kind of weird on the take off..... Full control inputs airborne and it starts a oscillation vibration in the rotor head And the body is shaking back and forth...... Full rudder goes back to normal...... It does a tornado In both directions nose down tail down Makes a lot of cool helicopter sounds hovering in the wind nose and hovering...... I think the price should have been 9 or $10 cheaper Because of that oscillation.... It doesn't have any optical flow that I know of But it does maintain altitude Automatically..... Full down collective and it slowly comes in for a landing It's got a lot of automation.... However I don't think a beginner could fly it....
Just turn on the optical posición hold in the stock radio transmitter, may be there is sorting to do before fly. Must read operation manual. Nice video , congratulation.
So you're using a t16 radio master own your helicopter I would give it one gift when it flies better the head speed is higher may be wrong but hey check it out and see if the head speed increased that would make it a lot more stable anyway thank you for the video but I would like to add one more thing by running the head speed higher to make the helicopter more stable means less power to your battery so your flight time will be shorter you might want to try to work out how to make a little bit more milliamp batteries good luck
Hi, thx for your videos, most of them have a good informtation. There is one thing I don´t understand: why to all, I mean all the testers fly most circles after a more or less not good looking takeoff. Then different speeds are shown, followed by a strange landing. Why does no one try to fligh these funny helcopter like a real one? I think it´s a question of concentration and a lot of tries to get along with the possiiaties auf the rc helicopters. Woould be nice if some of the heli friends would try to make an exakt landing with these toys. I will try all this, not knowing if it works. This is my aim. Everybody can fly to left to richt with full speed, but there is more what can brind a lot of fun and success! Give it a try!
You can fly these like scale helis, slow take off, slow flight, slow turns, nice landing. but its a matter of taste how people want to fly. I need to test these helicopters and push the limits so you see what you see in my videos.
@ I know you can link it to the C189. That’s not what I’m asking lol. I’m asking you will you do it and try optical flow and see if it makes a difference like it did for the C138
@@alishanmao I am getting the RadioMaster TX16 soon. These helicopters are really nice and although good to see a free TX, I think RCERA should consider selling helis alone and allow customers to use their own TX.
Hello Ali, can you help.me , my f09 seahawk seems to shake at spool up. It's never been crashed, or dropped. Gyro and calibration are fine ,over 15 flight and no problem, know it's seems to be drifting off to the left. I'm a nubie to the hobbies, could use your help. Thanks.
i would suggest you check the main rotor head linkage, swash plate leveling and main rotors, blades everything. i have had my friends exploding their main rotors on take off, due to one linkage cracked, or loose. as those are very difficult to spot. also check main shaft and all the screws, linkages properly
The flight performance improvement doesn't surprise me. Everything I have programmed into my TX16S has flown better. Thanks for the great review.
Thanks for your comment, appreciate it!

You bet!
Beautiful performance. My favourite helicopter Bell 206.
thanks
I'm using the XK 127 radio in mine, and it's been quite pleasant to fly.

there is always issues with their stock radios.
this video shows how to enable and disable the optical flow

yup these helis are full of surprises. let us know your findings :)
The non stock radio has higher quality pots on the control stic,k and a faster processor on the tx. Still all good 👍

i am experimenting as well and different rc era helis have different sweet spots for head speed. one has to play a lot to get them stable
@alishanmao Can't wait just ordered the Police version 💯
Did you just bind TX16S or repalced receivier? Is there a way to connect micro receiver via S-BUS maybe? Would love to use my Flysky radio
just bind it. you can find my video tutorial on my channel
can it be bound with a jumper t8sg the mini orange one?
if it has 4-1 multi protocol module that is updated with newest firmware to get the RC Era C129/C186 protocol yes you can else not

@@alishanmaoSo does your TX16s have the built-in 4in1 module option Ali?
@@mickmuzzmkmz1628 i always get 4-1 module version. ELRS is for racing drone pilots or long range FPV pilots.
I ordered the same one, but it was sent without an optical sensor, tell me, which is the big difference with the sensor? is it worth changing or not?
do you have the total socket controller or just standard radio?? it has option to get it with total socket radio which is what the 135 uses???? thanks
What is socket controller?
@@alishanmao That's the term the factory describes the 'upgraded' transmitter with. They sell this chopper with 2 different transmitters.

What % on Throttle Curve on TX16S are you using?
for these helis, there is no throttle curve. its just simple plane setup
what does the switch "Debug mode"mean on the control panel?
Great video Ali
Glad you enjoyed it
Love this helicopter great review I have had a dozen fun flights But now for some reason rotar starts as soon as battery power button is pushed and remote will not turn it off Any ideas to fix this Thanks
strange. never had this situation. probably something to do with flight controller glitch. or radio controller throtle calibration?
Does this work with all radios from radiomaster? I mean, can all radios from this brand be connected to this helicopter?
Great video Ali. Good info
Glad you liked it!
Is work with Radiomaster TX12 MkII CC2500 ? Thx 🙏
if you can update it to add those protocols it needs

well said
yeah RM is clowning these other proprietary fools.
Can this heli fly 3D when binded to a hobby grade radio?
no and yes. yes in a sense if you can find a way to connect it to a radio and find a flight controller that offers 3d flight on this heli
it's got brushed motors so it's not going to deliver much 3d worth doing anyway. the old mcp x and nano cp x from blade are better for the job and even they're weak.

Ciao bella presentazione. Vorrei comprare il modellino C138 Bell 206,puoi dirmi se si può mettere una ricevente Spektrum? Grazie
RC Era, I do not think you can install other receivers. if you buy flywing models you can install receivers of your choice
@alishanmao grazie, puoi dirmi quali sono i prodotti Flywing? E se c'è un elicottero come il C138 Bell 206. Grazie

LOVE THIS CHENNEL NUMBER # 1
Thank you
Ciao ,la radio come si fa a mettere in mode 1 ? Grazie
Never tried it but it should be in user manual of radio
Ok grazie
Watt are the pricer for this helikopter in USA.
check description :)
Hello! Can C138 able to fly inverted?
it may be possible since the blades do not look one directional, but it has brushed motors so it's not that great for much inverted transitions

U have to trim it too I trimmed my copters with optical flow n they stay stil with the stock radio, cmon man I thought u knew..
best to calibrate gyro. that does the job
