Reasons Why India lost! 1) Only 4 boundries between 10 to 50 overs. This is the the main reason India lost. You don't have to play so defensively! 2) Set batsmen threw their wickets. Kohli was set at 54 little mistake and gone! I don't blame Rohit because he was playing the same way whole tournament. Then comes Rahul 66 runs in 107 balls. He thought to accelerate in last 10 overs but got out in 41.3 overs. We never come in the mode of hitting only situation. Last hope Surya also failed to score those extra 30 runs in last 4 overs! So all set batsmen were playing slowly and then giving their wickets! 3) This pitch was not for 400 runs total. Do you get this? India played like let's score 400 fastly but it was 300 Runs pitch. We should not have thrown so much wickets in the beginning and played like chasing 300 runs! Silly Bhajji was saying that Aus made mistake by bowling first but the truth is that Aussies did read the pitch better than Indians. This pitch does play better in second innings, Eng vs NZ, Sa vs Afg are the proofs.

For 2023wc, Inspite of a great run in the tournament, looking back we lacked two major things as a team - 1) Pant, a Left handed aggressive batsmen in the middle order would have made wonders had he not been in the accident. Its just not the same with Jadeja, he comes too late in the innings. With left right combo, even opposition fielders would tire and make mistakes, but with Rohit Rahul Virat SKY Shreyas all right handed, the aussie fielders hardly had to move between the overs, warner was like a statue on deep point, no lapses for bowlers lines as well, see how cummins was putting all bowls on the same line consistently whereas shami was finding it hard and gave free balls because head (left handed) and labuschagne (right handed) were constantly rotating the strike. 2) A team needs an aggressor in the first 10 overs to take on the bowling YES, but that should be an expendable batsmen and not probably the best batsmen that the team depends on, and makes big hundreds. This fact was overlooked while things were going good but it came back to bite us in the end. Rohit and Kohli are the teams backbone, rohit's wicket was not expendable. We wanted him to stay for 25 overs that would have made huge difference to our totals. You can argue shreyas did that but he is not yet as dependable as Rohit is. Rohit has ability to convert 100s to 150s. We needed the aggressor to be a dispensible guy like we had Sehwag in the past and Australia had Mitch Marsh. This same problem was with SA too, deKock was too good a batter to be lost in powerplay aggression, Temba should have taken that role. We failed to develop that sort of a player, shubhman takes time to settle and that meant Rohit had to be it. A team like Australia would have taken chances on Ishaan or Yashasvi for 1 or 2 games, but India as a nation focuses on reputation over strategy and shubhman had great reputation. Rohit was brave and deserves all the accolades, but we needed our best batsmen to play more balls. Rohit in overs 41-50 would have wrecked havoc.

Reasons Why India lost!
1) Only 4 boundries between 10 to 50 overs. This is the the main reason India lost. You don't have to play so defensively!
2) Set batsmen threw their wickets.
Kohli was set at 54 little mistake and gone! I don't blame Rohit because he was playing the same way whole tournament. Then comes Rahul 66 runs in 107 balls. He thought to accelerate in last 10 overs but got out in 41.3 overs.
We never come in the mode of hitting only situation. Last hope Surya also failed to score those extra 30 runs in last 4 overs! So all set batsmen were playing slowly and then giving their wickets!
3) This pitch was not for 400 runs total. Do you get this? India played like let's score 400 fastly but it was 300 Runs pitch. We should not have thrown so much wickets in the beginning and played like chasing 300 runs!
Silly Bhajji was saying that Aus made mistake by bowling first but the truth is that Aussies did read the pitch better than Indians. This pitch does play better in second innings, Eng vs NZ, Sa vs Afg are the proofs.
All points are true but i think third is wrong. Rohit read pitch well and hence took on bowlers in powerplay knowing that it will be tough to score later. You remember south africa game? That time also similar thing happened. That time, Iyer performed, today he didn't and except him, Kohli-Rahul had responsibility but unfortunately got out at the wrong time.

Also SKY had no one at the other end who would support him. So first you would want to play out most overs. So i think we did try our best but it was not our day

1983 and 2011 are the heartbeat of every indian but i thought 2003 campaign too was really a proud campaign in which we did really well we only surrender against top quality world cup champions but 1996 semifinals 2019 sf and 2023 finals are those which was really the most hurted moments of indian cricket 😢😢

For 2023wc, Inspite of a great run in the tournament, looking back we lacked two major things as a team -
1) Pant, a Left handed aggressive batsmen in the middle order would have made wonders had he not been in the accident. Its just not the same with Jadeja, he comes too late in the innings. With left right combo, even opposition fielders would tire and make mistakes, but with Rohit Rahul Virat SKY Shreyas all right handed, the aussie fielders hardly had to move between the overs, warner was like a statue on deep point, no lapses for bowlers lines as well, see how cummins was putting all bowls on the same line consistently whereas shami was finding it hard and gave free balls because head (left handed) and labuschagne (right handed) were constantly rotating the strike.
2) A team needs an aggressor in the first 10 overs to take on the bowling YES, but that should be an expendable batsmen and not probably the best batsmen that the team depends on, and makes big hundreds. This fact was overlooked while things were going good but it came back to bite us in the end. Rohit and Kohli are the teams backbone, rohit's wicket was not expendable. We wanted him to stay for 25 overs that would have made huge difference to our totals. You can argue shreyas did that but he is not yet as dependable as Rohit is. Rohit has ability to convert 100s to 150s. We needed the aggressor to be a dispensible guy like we had Sehwag in the past and Australia had Mitch Marsh. This same problem was with SA too, deKock was too good a batter to be lost in powerplay aggression, Temba should have taken that role.
We failed to develop that sort of a player, shubhman takes time to settle and that meant Rohit had to be it.
A team like Australia would have taken chances on Ishaan or Yashasvi for 1 or 2 games, but India as a nation focuses on reputation over strategy and shubhman had great reputation. Rohit was brave and deserves all the accolades, but we needed our best batsmen to play more balls. Rohit in overs 41-50 would have wrecked havoc.
Our team players want to earn their name and money. Kapil Dev and Ms DHONI played for country and earned the name
