- We were really fortunate earlier this year to welcome the fantastic Nik Kershaw to Bootleggers in Kendal.He played a superb solo acoustic set featuring his hits, and great album tracks. Here is the Riddle.
true artist...no big stage, light efects, dozens of musicians and back vocalists, managers...just a club, guitar, big voice and big heart..perfect!
This whistle from the audience during the bridge is just something!)))

What a beautiful and peaceful performance. Still a great voice, quality never gets oldfashioned.
Might just be me, but I think that his years of experience since he sung this the first time adds depth to it, and it sounds more... Truly pondering, with a deeper meaning perhaps.

Always liked his singing and I still do I was 6 years old when I first heard him singing now I have rediscovered Nik Kershaw I have become a fan again.
Fast forward to 23/10/2013 where I saw him perform an acoustic set at the Playhouse, Mapua New Zealand. He was totally awesome. So good that I have promised myself tickets for his June 2014 gig in Leeds when I'm over in the UK for a family wedding. To anyone who hasn't seen him live, just go. ;-)

Love it!!!! Nik did a cover of Peter Green's (Fleetwood Mac) 'Green Manalishi'. Wish he would record it. This was many moons ago before fame found him.

Whats this talk about his age, it happens people! Has nothing to do with whether he should still be performing or not. This mentality is very typical of today's youth who haven't a clue about music and art, and who generally equate everything with looks and age, very typical of their linear understanding and mind set of the youth of today as a result of the manipulation from the entertainment industry media.

Ich finde es in der Regel auch erbärmlich, wenn alte Stars ihre Halbwertszeit auf ewig verlängern (Rolling Stones etc). Aber das hier hat Klasse. Du hättest also lieber gehabt, wenn er da weitergemacht hätte, wo er aufgehört hatte? Also mit lächerlichen Synthiesounds, noch lächerlicher Frisur und billigen drumkits? DAS wäre peinlich.
he seems tired to sing it,maybe co's sad songs are always the most appreciated but the less understood...
