I'm a retired U.S. military dude, who has lived in the Philippines for many years. I live in a very small area, and we hear karaoke almost every single night! On weekdays, it is usually kept at a very respectable volume level. But, this all goes out the window for birthdays and holidays! And, of course, the volume goes up a bit on Friday's/Saturday's. And songs played can hit a large variety, including a lot from the '50's on up, til present day stuff. Also voices can range from not so good, to very, very good! Even I sing at times (alcohol involved!), but I am certainly neither terrible or good. But, Filipino's always appreciate that you'll at least try to sing with them. I'm usually a hit at almost every party go to. Not bc I'm a good singer, but bc I help stop the "myth" of the "stuck up American".
I grew up in the 90s here in the US and watched Boys2Men in Dallas live when I was in high school. These 3 dudes are better with more flavor than the actual performance from the original artist...very nicely done.
I am korean filipino and i'm born in south korea daegu but i raise in philippines and the philippines so many karaoke u can see that's why filipino are good at singing and singing like a part of cultre in philippines filipino so very talented singer or athelete
Yes everywhere, in a resto bar, at a birthday party, Christmas party, bonding at the beach, any kind of celebration Filipinos love to sing in a karaoke. 80-90% of every household has at least 2-3 singers.
Im filipino here in California and I must tell you… Every house party needs to have a MAGIC MIC!! We love to sing even if you cant sing, just the passion and emo singing those classic OPM songs 😂😂😂
A lot of Filipinos, known or not, who are excellent singers go viral, and this is just one side of the coin. The other side of the coin is that those Filipinos who are on the extreme opposite of the singing talent spectrum also have their share of "center-stage" moments - karaoke is the means to have fun, a time to laugh at the lack of talent or skill without feeling embarrassed or discriminated, and an opportunity to gather together to forget about the hustle and bustle of daily life. After all, a Filipino inventor named Roberto del Rosario is recognized as one of the originators of the karaoke machine and patented the Karaoke Sing-Along System.
You are very welcome to come to the Philippines 😊 . Aside from singing and videoke , we have so many things to offer like many beautiful tourists spots especially white sand beaches and more ...😊
dang! i didn't even recognized your guls Justin. without make up? wow!!! she looks even more beautiful and gorgeous without make up. keep that way gul!
The three singers, actually e professional singer here in phillippines. you can see them on a tv a quite sometimes. i love them both. the one wearing cap is jhong daliday. i realy love his voice.
when the guy with a cap snatches the mic i thought she recognizes Jong Madaliday. He's a youtuber with a 1.58M followers. You might wanna do a reaction video of him. He's so talented.
@1:47 the guy on the left if garret bolden, he competed in “the clash” a Filipino singing competition on TV, the guy with the cap is jong madaliday also from “the clash”…he’s more active on Omegle and RUclips
Every weekend you hear kareoke in every we're in the street, birthday. Fiesta, wedding, even holiday, even no occasion you them sing family and friends.
Yes please, come to the Philippines and experience the Karaoke with the Filipinos. And of course to enjoy the wonderful beaches and other tourist spots. Hope you’ll be able to watch SB19 concerts too. 😊
A normal day in our household 😂 my family loves singing and not bragging but we can definitely sing but just to pass time or just enjoy each other’s company, that’s how we bond
If ever in DC area...come to my house to see my nieces for Karaoke night...not joking...have 4-5 little Olivia Rodrigos and their moms (all related) singing like they're in a concert...each one could win the Voice!!!
You guys need to go Philippines and I am sure you guys are famous there already. If you guys sing there it will surely be viral because you guys can really sing good. Merry Christmas to both of you 🎄🎄🎄
All Filipino household has a karaoke machine! Singing, dancing is our thing! Try to go to the Philippines and find a grumpy person. You won’t find one. Philippines 🇵🇭 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I think that guy with yellow T- shirt participated in the clash, which could be seen in GMA channel. Also, its casual for us to sing karaoke if there are occasions, like birthdays etc.
the who arrived at 2:12 is Jong Madaliday, a singer from GMA before and on the left side is Garret Bolden and i dont know the other one. they're all professional singers.
It's normal in the Philippines to see this kind of interaction, eating while singing in the restaurant...even in our beach getaway piknik we're singing 😂😂❤❤❤
Filipinos are nonchalant! Kidding aside, I have the same - “ just sitting on my chair reaction, eating, drinking and listening expecting a performance from my friends” kind of vibe. I’m also tone deaf and a Filipino, but I always always always expect someone, at least 3 out of 10 (or even more) in any group setting in a Karaoke to be really good singers. And even if I am tone deaf, my go to songs are “Stop” by Spice Girls and “Sk8r Boy” by Avril Lavigne… Dunno why, but my friends sing and dance with me with these songs in Karaoke night!
The Filipino love for singing is a harmonious blend of cultural heritage, social practices, emotional expression, and a supportive community. Singing is more than just a hobby-it’s a way of life, a source of joy, and a symbol of resilience. This deep-rooted passion, combined with natural talent and continuous practice, makes Filipinos exceptional singers, celebrated both locally and globally. #ProudPinoy
and truthfully this is normal in filipino gathering. if you go to a karaoke bar and you see ten filipino in there 8 of them can fucking sing. normaly i give up and i just let them go ahead 😂
Filipinos are everywhere we sing karaoke we love parties we love eating there must be filipinos around the area dont hesitate to ask them if you want to join.
Tbe guy with a ponytail and mustard yellow shirt is singer Garrett Bolden. He truly sings well. Look for his cover song performed with Katrina Velarde 'Forevermore'. He also has his own songs: ' Our Love' , and a recording video of his song 'Pwede Pa Ba'.
With all honesty and humility, everyone here in the Philippines can sing, but not everyone has a great voice, but theres a lot of good singers here bcoz its a culture here, any age can sing, we just love to sing whether its bad or good 😂
These guys are not regular people. They are professional singers. I know the guy with the dredlocks. I did a competition with him. His name is Garrette Bolden. He sings for a living.
They're actually singers here in the Philippines.. They were contestants in a singing contest and that guy wt bag was the one who won(or the one in caps).. The name of the contest was THE CLASH it was a tv show.. 😊

They are all singers from The Clash. If memory serves me right, the guy in the hat and the one in the dreadlocks made it to the finals. I just know they were my bet.
these guys were former contestants and finalists from a Philippine TV singing contest before. Jong Madaliday also has a YT channel with over a million followers I think, he serenades in omegle/omeTV as his content.
This is normal in the Philippines. That’s why joining in a singing contest here is hard, cause judges have high standards. Some didn’t even had singing lessons. We just love to sing and dance. Filipinos are good entertainers.
