Every time I see this presentation, I get excited. Gabriel was hospitalized until the eve of this event. He left Brazil in the middle of summer and in a few hours was in low temperatures. The throat became infected, had severe tonsillitis, took two types of intravenous antibiotics, everyone even thought he couldn't sing. But I don't understand if you liked it or didn't like it? Did you know that when traveling from Brazil in the middle of summer and very hot when he arrived in Romania he was 10 degrees negative and he became very sick with sore throat, fever, many body pains including he was hospitalized to receive medications and the doctors forbade him to sing but even so 2 days later he took the stage and gave this performance of interpretation, imagine he did all this sick imagine if he was healthy? On the day of this event, several great singers performed (Gabriel sang more than one song, like other singers present), at the end they asked the audience which song they wanted an encore of, and the audience chose Gabriel, it was a source of pride for us Brazilians!

I also prefer when artists showcase their talent when singing live however you should know that Gabriel was released from the local hospital just hours prior to this concert where, the man had sore throat, swollen tonsils with intense fever, but still he insisted on not cancelling his presentation, that should be taken into consideration when analysing his performance on this one. In fact, Gabriel had to go to hospital twice in Bucharest and was given two different antibiotics for a very severe inflammation of the tonsils coupled with a very high fever 24 hours before the concert !!🤥 He was nevertheless able to deliver this sublime interpretation of “Oh Holy Night”, which earned him a memorable Standing Ovation requested by the conductor himself. This version was alright; I think his cover he did of this song a few years back was SIGNIFICANTLY better / more passionate / way less 'nervous' vibes -- big Gabriel fan here for many years, ever since seeing his Whitney cover like 8 (?) years ago or so. He needs to work on his stage presence for sure / handle the nervous vibes he gives off in these types of settings.
