The way he tells this story on his podcast is so detailed and descriptive. Sammy took out the hitman of the hitmen in the Mafia. Johnny told Sammy how to do the hit (once he was captured) since Johnny knew Sammy had to do it because it was a brought down by the commission. Sammy succeeded getting to him when this war was going on. Nobody else could touch Johnny and Johnny respected Sammy for even outsmarting him.
This is probably one of Sammy’s most emotional stories. It’s so chilling yet there is empathy and sympathy from Sammy.

I had a run in with this man during the 80s. Was actually dating a girl who's father was part of the Gambinos. We broke up an she wouldn't leave me alone, slashed my tires multiple times, broke my car an house windows ect. The last time I called her house of course pissed off and a man answered the phone ( her father). We had some words an I hung up. 3 days later I'm going to walk inside my house when Sammy an 2 other guys approached. At the time I had zero idea this girls father was who he was even though he made some pretty serious threats. I was basically told look if we wanted you we would of already had you, call that girl again for ANY reason an next time we won't be talking. Scared the shit out of me. It wasn't until years later when he was all over the news did I realize who I talked to outside my apartment that night. 😳

They’re not all sociopaths. If you grow up into violence it’s just second nature. You become indifferent to horrific things. You watch brutality all your life, it becomes you. I’m sure many of them have mental disorders but the true sociopath, imo, is the one who grows up in warmth and love and can kill without any regret or pain. No empathy towards those they hurt. That’s a true sociopath. For the most part, they are who they were molded to become.
