I imagine the Mongolian diet evolved to survive the harsh weather. On that winter, you need animal fat to be able to work outside on the cold wind. No place for skinny veggie munchers here. No part of the animal is waisted, just like the plain Indians in NoRth America. Great work man. Every episode is like a master class in Mongolian culinary.

Kessang is from Tibetan lineage. Khadag in tibetan means the same...only in mongoloid it's being pronounced with "k" silent while in Tibetan it's not silent. Besides Mongols Buddhism is Nyingmapa tradition. Many young learner's from mongolia come to India in Sakya monastries to train in Nyingmapa Buddhist tradition.
