Holy moly! We being descendants of mongolians still use terms such as "khadag" in my tribe and community, although we are miles away. The khadags here also bear the 8 lucky signs. I really wanna visit Mongolia now!
Kessang is from Tibetan lineage. Khadag in tibetan means the same...only in mongoloid it's being pronounced with "k" silent while in Tibetan it's not silent. Besides Mongols Buddhism is Nyingmapa tradition. Many young learner's from mongolia come to India in Sakya monastries to train in Nyingmapa Buddhist tradition.
I was struggling to find information for my book about Mongolian culture until I found Nargie's youtube, this is PERFECT! So much information packed into each video, even subtle small details.
