Madeon's "Adventure" is one of the greatest electronic albums in my opinion and You're On is still one of my favorite Madeon/EDM tracks in general. I came across this Adventure VIP Remix that illdesza has (not sure if they made it) on soundcloud and fell in love as it's the similar one to the one Madeon plays live (almost to the tee). I wrote him an apology and immediately amended when he emailed me. Just to share the situation:
Hey Peije,
I’m honestly incredibly sorry that this happened. In 10 years I have only gone about credit this way and this is the first time I’ve had problems with a creator not being happy post-release/without contact - I also have been using the same artwork from our four designers too for the past 6 years so it completely slipped my mind. But you’re absolutely right and I shouldn’t have assumed that I could have used it with credit without contacting you first prior to release. I hope you can accept my apology.
