    This is the best video on stance I have ever seen. So detailed and granular. I hate those videos that just say "walk your front leg 45 degrees out and bend down" there is so much more than that to know.

    This is probably the most real pool video I have seen yet. The mental part of the game is just as important to develop as the technical part of the game, especially when you aren't playing your best game. Thanks for this video. Lot's of wisdom within it. From Seattle, APA SL4.

    I just can't express enough how helpful this one is for a beginner player like me. My friend taught me the text book version of the stance, bridge, etc. But lots of questions (in most case, the "why") just keep popping up as I shoot more and try to help other beginner players like myself (but with no one to teach). I guess in the end, the truly "wrong" stance is the one that make you feel (1) uncomfortable over a long session of shooting and (2) if you feel unstable when you shoot. Really appreciate this one Jasmine, as it touched and analyzed areas that may be considered dumb or natural by long term players! ❤

    Excellent video! This video addresses one issue I had a really hard time with and that was the distance from the table. What Jasmin showed here, with the hand holding the cue, the hand next to the hip, and the tip very close to the cue ball is exactly how I figured out how to get my distance correctly. And it has made a huge difference in my pocketing. I wish I had seen this video years ago.

    My new coach! lol. I love your facial expressions! So funny and cute! This is a very informative video! I’ve been playing about 45 years and I have more of a snooker stance, although I don’t play snooker lol. It just works for me. One thing I just cannot do though is rest my chin n that cue..or get extremely close to it like you and most pros do. I’m 5’10” and I’m 58 now, and it absolutely KILLS my neck to try shooting this way. I know it’s correct, but I still try and get down as close to the cue as I can. If I shoot all night while trying to rest my chin on the cue, by the end of the night I have a migraine. Not good! I will try your stance, I really like it, and see if it works for me! Great video, Jasmin! ❤️

    great video for posture and base of support during upper extremity activity during pool. i think you could add a stretching video that you might do before a match. upper extremity and lower, just an idea. for me, i have a sheet of paper on the wall in my bedroom and i write stuff down for future videos. i have three years worth of videos. but if i run out of ideas, i will go to the wall paper! 🙃 still enjoy the style of editing and great instruction. like the voice over. doing well Jasmin. i remember when you had 4 or 5 K subs. nice job

    CJ Riley has a very interesting take on stance. It's never the side of the hip. He suggests dead center of the body all the way between your eyes. Then a way your body moves out of the way to shoot dead center. Different approach

      Same. Ive been playing over 40 years, quit for about 20 of them, but last year decided to rededicate myself. I broke everything down and restarted after learning about vision center. I'm left eye dominate with my vision center just to the left of my nose. So for people like us I think it's acceptable to have our back foot more to the right with a wider stance so we can get our vision center on line. I don't even worry where my feet are anymore I line up with my vision center on line and get comfortable from there. My accuracy has greatly improved as I am approaching A speed for once.

    • @CookTheCrook15
      @CookTheCrook15 4 месяца назад +1

      I’m right eye dominant and shoot left handed. What I do is when I’m aiming before getting down on the shot is lean to the side with my head over my anchor foot and finding center. Then, with my head still over to the side, step into the shot without my moving my head from the shooting line. It takes getting used to as all things do, but it has helped me. I had problems cutting balls from the left side until I started doing that

    • @josheisert8380
      @josheisert8380 4 месяца назад +1

      @@CookTheCrook15 Had I known about vision center when I started I would have learned left handed. Me being right handed if I start with my back foot on line I would have to tilt my head and lean so much that I about fall over. Not really but it's a lot. I may experiment more with that approach though. Everyone says start with your foundation but I'm having success for now my way but always looking for ways to get better

    • @JerryLee..
      @JerryLee.. 4 месяца назад

      @josheisert8380 as a kid, I completely relearned shooting my air rifle left handed even though I knew nothing about dominant eye. Wish I would have done the same with pool. (Sigh) Leaning over isn't comfortable but it's something I may have to just get used to.
