PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE DRIVERS! ☠️
As former law enforcement and an experienced Emergency Vehicle Training, I’ve seen a human head under a tire…
Why humans get to drive a large weapon without vehicular training? 🤨🧟♀️
Presently, driver’s disregard all rules of the road due to believing they don’t have to communicate using signals, maneuvering radically while distracted, and no respect for others on the road.
Sounds like trolling bs to me.
i can say same to DMV about why they don't teach regular drivers about big trucks = that it take the truck long distance to stop < cars do stupid things all times
@@Nine-zz6cs The drivers attempt to get their loads on time to the destination and tip over during high winds. Causes accidents and traffic. I felt what you just said.
I've noticed drivers think putting a turn signal on means they can change lanes immediately instead of waiting for a opening in the lane they wish to enter!!
@@mckenna295 Try going to other parts of the world - they don’t even signal…
Tesla did not spend $10 billion this year on FSD, but cumulatively spent $10 billion since starting development of FSD.
The advice he gave at the end of the video about having different goals than wall street analysts was invaluable! What a relief to hear him say that. Not investment advice, I know. But it was a priceless thing to say.
My excitement level is so high for the video tomorrow. Love this great channel.
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Michelle Stewart.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families in United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states..
You trade with Michelle Stewart too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
You guys are SPOT ON !
The biggest hurdle will be insurance
You cannot drive an Auto drive car without insurance and we have been trying to get licensed in most states WITHOUT success
Tesla will insure it. Not a problem.
If you want to achieve superhuman performance, you're going to need simulated data. For example, if you wanted to train your car to be able to cope with a small aircraft landing on the freeway ahead of it, you would be hard-pressed to find appropriate training video, but Sora could easily simulate that video. Similarly, if you want your car to be able to function in heavy fog, you are going to need to outfit it with radar. Neural nets can easily mix radar and video data.
Cern - I fully agree that FSD will save lives and it is the future.
But; will you explain how Robo taxi will reduce congestion.
There will be millions of empty RT’s traveling to pick up people for work in the morning then the majority will find a a parking spot for 8 hours.
The process will then be repeated at quitting time.
Agree. Way more traffic everywhere. Empty parking lots.
I just drove from Brooklyn Monday morning at 2am to Lake Erie to catch the eclipse on zero sleep. I just got back to Brooklyn just in time to get ready for work I got about an hour of sleep while charging this morning at 3am. With out FSD I wouldn’t have been able to do this.
Just like with the Tesla super chargers I do not believe that Tesla will get any companies to sign on to FSD until it is approved and proven.
Not unreasonable but the problem is it will take an OEM 2+ years to implement Tesla FSD into their vehicles. That from many logistics and auto manufacturing guys. So that have to imagine they’ll solve it themselves in 2 years or just license it? OEMs buy most of their parts from suppliers so what’s the difference plus they’ll spend $billions and risk not solving it.
I doubt they will be foolish enough to wait that long. Can't flip the switch overnight.
Which will be in about 5 minutes. ….
We need cameras to give tickets to create a safer highway. If people know for sure, they’ll get a ticket if they run a red light where there are cops there or not, or if they speed people will change.
Toyota needs to partner with Tesla.
They’d both totally dominate the car industry, more so than now.
Battery warranty is currently 150000 miles. A robotaxi may cover this miles in 6 months. How the warranty part work after. I think a battery swap/subscription model may be required for long term survival.
Robotaxi will likely be LFP, which has superior longevity.
Building battery replacement into an RT business model is not too much of a burden over the real life of a battery .
It has to be available before we accuse people of resisting it
My feeling is Elon pushing of Robotaxi over the 25K vehicle is a big mistake. Don’t think the general public is not ready for the technicality. I’m a car guy streetrodder, muscle cars and my fellow car friends are reluctant to accept electronic vehicles let alone self driving. I currently have 2 Teslas and one with the free 30 day trial of FSD. I’m a believer but my friends will be very slow to accept electric let alone FSD. I agree with your information but of the 12 guys having coffee everyday are totally uneducated and convinced that the grid cannot handle that EV’s are being shoved down their throats by the government. I try to educate them but their not listening
Agree with most what you’re saying but I don’t believe Musk is prioritising Robotaxi over the $25k vehicle, he’s darking the latter’s development. I believe they’re going hand in hand with each other and highly likely come to the market at similar/same time. He doesn’t want the market and/or customers to be too aware of the $25k’s car introduction as that may take too much sales away from the 3 & Y.
The vast majority of people don't care about cars, it is just a box to take them from here to there when they want to go; they have them for the convenience only.
Most people are not you.
When it cost 10 dollars to go to the airport instead of taking an Uber for 35, people will adapt.
When it's cheaper to use a robotaxi instead of driving back and forth to work everyday, people will adapt.
I don’t believe the technology is ready. And I don’t believe it will be ready anytime soon. I’ll have to see these on the road operating in at least 1 city successfully with limited to no restrictions. I won’t buy into hype and into anecdotal evidence where people are behind the wheel at all times.
The current version looks better but I’ve seen it do dangerous things in the few videos I’ve watched - sometimes requiring intervention. Thats unacceptable. Most people can go a lifetime without getting into an accident.
If two different networks are operating FSD, what are the network requirements to connect for collective safety?
So funny: Yellow light = accelerate!
I know it's difficult but one *should always look both ways* regardless of light status.
I've almost been T-boned 5 or 10 seconds after light was green for me, once by a fast loaded F-150, it only takes once to wreck your life.
One must say the US roaddesign is often „adventurous“.
No roundabouts like in EU ( more accidents, but less fatal ones).
Unprotected leftturns, no adherence to passing only lanes and so on …
@@maxs351 Have you checked the relative fatality/injury rates? When I was in Portugal (long ago) it was immediately obvious why the fatality rate *was* 20X the US rate on one infamous hwy.
We have a lot of roundabouts, not enough, but certainly not none and increasingly popular.
"No adherence to passing lanes only"?? You mean left lane campers? An issue but we can pass on either side. *Lack of 'lane discipline'* a common annoyance more than a direct safety threat. (((light'em up COPs, please!)))
Our biggest problem is general carelessness, *texting* in particular, extremely dangerous and common.
@@maxs351 From American perspective--Euro roads are largely "adventurous" to downright terrifying. Have you any experience on US roads? Doesn't sound like it.
@@Mrbfgray due to more space available and larger roads, I admit that driving in the states must be much safer. I should compare the accident rates.
For the roundabouts EU is redesigning many regular crossroads in northern europe (south has had them anyways) and spending money on that transition.
Just saying we need FSD aaand an as goid as possible road design.
I have little experience driving in the US. but watch many FSD VIDEOS 🫠
and Im there on a regular basis but only downtown areas.
@@maxs351Oh please, US roads are fine.

Unless you are driving in defense mode all the time, you have a one in a hundred chance in any given year of becoming an organ donor. That means you always assume the other drivers are either distracted, idiots or both and never assume they even see you.
VW just concluded a deal with Mobileye!
Anyone else think that maybe the first version of robotaxi also have a wheel and pedals hid away, to be pulled out if needed. So it can be used as a regulare 25k veichle if needed?
Could simulation be enough for trucks only on highways ? Aurora might be a winner for that niche application.
Simulators: Actually, 9:00 many pilots flying a “real’’ aircraft for the first time are doing it with a full load of passengers. As a co-pilot, mind you, but 747s are way to expensive to operate to be used for training.
That’s true.
The simulators of the highest grade are certified for ZFTT ( zero flight time training). So the first real landing in a Boeing 777 etc. would be just in normal ops
Evening guys
Im confused now - Tesla production main bottleneck is lack of batteries? Teska will always be constricted (in the next 3-5yrs): because they cant produce enough batteries? Am i understanding this correctly?
I have seen some of Cern's analysis of the Bot Rollout.
It was Outstanding!!!
can't wait to see it!
How do Tesla cameras cope with Fog ?
Cern says robotaxi will reduce traffic. I can see a reduction of up to 5 times in parked vehicles but if the robo vehicles drive More than 5 times the miles as predicted then traffic will not decrease?
yes it is a bet ... older folks should balance our investments ... but young folks can dollar cost average a third maybe into tesla ... fsd supervised driving is good for me since I have Parkinson's Disease .... more freedom ...
All the best with your health and I hope you are surrounded by love
This is crazy
The arrival of self-driving cars will not decongest highways. People in robo taxis will take up the same space in highways as they do in their own cars. In fact it will probably greatly exacerbate the problem if people shift from public transport to cars.
They will be smaller and the parking space will be reduced.
@@moncho2000 That won't reduce congestion. Most space taken up on roads is due to the gap needed to be maintained between cars, not the physical space taken by the cars themselves. A full train has a capacity in the order of 1000 passengers whereas a bus can carry something like 100. In many places, having a portion of those swap into robo-taxis would be a disaster for road congestion.
Somebody has to lead the Network Systems in Software because even if they develop something…
We’ve seen how well APIs connect in todays software applications: NEGATIVE!
That’s a safety issue.
We have to have one reliable leader in the Network and share the wealth! ⚔️💪🏽🙏🏽
I believe that Ford will be the first legacy auto company to licence FSD, then the rest of the big boys will follow or fall by the wayside.
Sad that it's surprising when an analyst gets it.
Now we know why the talks with Ford fell through. Tesla: "We will do it at cost". Ford: "How much is cost?". Tesla: "Ten billion dollars".
Tesla will be a $25 stock in 2025. August 8th you say, really?
It's more like 250
Cern is very valuable to the community. He has done his work. I enjoy watching his analysis.
Maybe the analysts should talk about Musk's declined compensation packet, too. To give a perspective: that compensation packet was about the size of Tesla's cumulative net profit during its 20 year existence. Is it a company or is it a cult?
Either the technology is there or it’s not. Currently for Tesla it’s not. Talking about people being hesitant is kind of irrelevant. No one can get into a Tesla without being behind the wheel and attentive. There’s no other option as of today. Once the option is there we can talk about hesitancy actually observed.
You have the right to dream, but you don't have the right to force others to accept your dream.
Well, automobiles being ubiquitous was just a dream, first highly resisted, now (pretty universally!) accepted.
Autonomous vehicles being ubiquitous will save the vast majority of lives; it won’t be necessary to force it on everyone because that last 0.1% will be mostly off the radar.
Having said that, those isolated incidents may very well make the headlines the same way gun-based violence does in Japan, and there may eventually be a push to end it. But I’m thinking it won’t be in my lifetime (I’m 57).
@@altosack What does that mean? what do I care what the news says? I will be driving my own car.
@@user-wk6mb7mw3g - I wasn’t speaking of news; I was speaking of societal consensus. Of course, news is largely propaganda designed to steer societal consensus, but _occasionally,_ it’s slightly steered by rationality.
@@altosack I don't care about the consensus either.
@@user-wk6mb7mw3g - One of my points was that societal consensus, no matter what its origin, sometimes leads to regulations, which one will probably follow if one wants to continue participating in society.
I suspect you wear a seatbelt and limit imbibing alcohol before driving for this reason.
In a resource constrained environment which is likely and moving forward nations are becoming serious about CO2e FSD is a must have tool to target global emissions from the transportation sector. Thank you Elon.
CO2e as you call it is plant food. Quit believing the vomit of intentional lies being spewed by the power mad, control freak liberals and NWO crowd who work daily to frighten and control you. Wake up.
I think vehicle autonomy will only be value add at massive scales if the driver truly doesn’t have to sit behind the wheel to supervise. Otherwise, people just think it’s just a gimmick no matter how good it is. This is just one opinion, so don’t get offended and it might not be right
Teslataxi would be a good name
Doesn't people realize the Robotaxi IS the $25k car. Just different names same car. Hint hint. Elon must be shaking his head and sighing.😮😔buy the Robotaxi go home and put the steering wheel on. Geez.
In the meantime in Sweden just now:
Child hit in Linköping
A child under ten years old has been hit by a vehicle in Linköping.
"We now suspect the person who was driving the vehicle,"
The child was awake and able to speak when taken away by ambulance.
Agree with Cern...
The other companies
are years behind.
Some day the window of
Opportunity will close,
because the competition
will be cut throat and non-
FSD enabled cars will become dinosaurs.
The pause by legacy auto is the perfect opportunity for one or several to chose the Tesla operating system and FSD. When the next generation vehicles in the second half of this decade, they could be fully state of the art, software-up EVs.
For Herbert: The $10B mentioned by Musk was 'cumulative' through this year... not this year's investment.
"Because you don't like [person] " lot of people in high positions doing this kind of thing in business.... just ridiculous but welcome to pride.
Call it better than 50% chance this year, for an FSD License agreement.
It would not surprise me if all the Tesla driving data has been scraped and the competition already has it.
I believe Ford is already moving toward the Tesla platform
Wall Street analysts fail to accurately predict a company's quarterly performance. The outcome: blame the company's management. Shouldn't the outcome be blame the analysts?
ATTENTION: The author of this video receives benefits to promote Tesla. This is the a biased channel about Tesla, similar to authetic the approach of pyramid schemes.
where is Amazons Robotaxi from Zoox on your chart. They will beat everyone.

You know what would be better for traffic, the environment, and productivity? Working from home. But Musk got all butt hurt about it.
Productivity from home is a problem. Most companies need face to face contact for proper communication amongst teams.
