I'm creative, and I've become more harmonizing as I've gotten older, and then a little dominant when needed.
Well, last 2 times I started out for a career I got in a leading position very fast and always got put down by someone higher ranked...as long as those people get in highest position it seems impossible for me to march forward unless I take them down by lawyers, which would be quite easy with enough ressources...
to my personality, I think I am a harmonized ENFP-T, I am a huge teamplayer, I do not need to get in charge to manage the teams correctly, I have a lot of hobbies, some mainstream, some nerdy...great passion for everything I do, very relaxing type of person...I am following a lot of vibes, some tests gave me 100% Intuition and 97% feeling......I had a champion once, which in the end became my worst enemy, which made me quit my job and now I am searching for a new life, hah, 40, midlife crisis as an ENFP
I’m an ENFP .. I’m a professional singer and salesperson at the moment. I was a personal trainer for 20 years and after that I became an event planner.
I’ve always wanted to be a psychologist but I don’t have the attention span for 4 year college 😂
The first 15 years of my life i was an ENFP creative, but as i got more involved with prepping for my career. I became an ENFP dominant. I am a Harmonizer. Its wild. I even have tested as an Infp at times in my life. I had to adoat more toward the creative style and it just wasn't me. And every single career mentioned sounded great to me.
For the Harmonizer
I think regarding career development, I chose according to the harmonising subtype. Unless I'm misunderstanding the context.
I chose to study genetics to better understand myself which would've lead me to a role in research or lecturing. However I'm not resonating with research anymore.

Software Engineer enfp here! It’s awesome. I bring the creativity and sociability to my teams. I love designing complex systems and the “campaign” aspect of building something entirely new within a constrained organization or even a startup. My hobbies include guitar and running. ;)
I’m loving this series so far. I’ve been jumping back and forth between ENFP and INFJ for a long time (knowing I was an NF type but not being able to figure out the other two). I had close friends type me and all of them came up with ENFP (but I definitely don’t associate with the typical ENFP type so it always confused me).
After watching this video, it makes so much sense why this was the case for me. I think I’m the normalizing ENFP-always balancing the creative and the technical and building the bridge between the two worlds. I tend to look for more conventional roles (administrative/bookkeeping roles mostly) but absolutely need to have a creative outlet (writing fantasy is the major one). That and the dominant ENFP made the most sense to me (but I can see myself shifting to any one of these types depending on the situation or career I’m in).

I think I started out as dominant when I was younger, switched to normalizing in a career (when I couldn’t be in an automatic leadership role), and I admire the harmonizing and creative subtypes. My dream would be to write full time. It’s when I lose myself and time just flies by the easiest.
Listening to this now makes perfect sense as to why I’ve struggled to except my ENFP status but I’ve known there’s too many traits for me not to be one, it’s because I’m an harmonising ENFP and a marketeer.
Although Antonia did say we’d be ok at marketing ourselves, actually I find that part really hard I can advocate and market anyone else but struggle to do it for myself x

I was INFP in 2022 maybe in January or maybe before that. In the last of 2022 I was ENTP, what was really doubtable even for me(I just tested onetime at a single website).
And today I had tested it again and happy to say I am an ENFP-T.

Thank God for you two! You get that not all ENFPs are the same. I’m a dominant ENFP and get mistyped, but people who work with me definitely know I’m not a TJ because I have been told I add a human component that makes people feel seen as individuals and I lead by inspiring people and creating energy for company goals. *not that ENTJs don’t do these things, but they seem to be more matter of fact in leadership
I’m 4 months late to this thread, but I find myself strongly attracted to the ENFP personality type, particularly the Creative & Harmonizing subtype. I test strongly & consistently as an INTP: BS in physics, Peace Corps Volunteer as a STEM teacher in Africa; MLA in Landscape Architecture / Environmental Planning; all but dissertation for a PhD in Ecosystem & Landscape Ecology. My INTP type is quite rare, but I would desperately like to see you develop a 4 subtype career analysis of the INTP type. I’m definitely NOT a dominant subtype-and rebel against domineering people. Please, please, please bump a subtype analysis of INTPs up in your queue!!

I’m most creative/normalizing - polar opposites. Harmonizing. Dominant is the least. Super helpful talk! Yes! Been confused with enfj, infp, infj.
Wow, maybe I've always been an ENFP, but I was a different subtype in a different social environment...
ENFP, Creative Subtype. Korean Cryptologic Linguist (USAF), then Foodservice, then teaching English to Internationals, then Graduate Assistant in a Foreign Language Learning Center at a university, then back to Foodservice. Have a BA in International Studies. Currently working on a BA in Spanish, Art History Minor. Next up, Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, teaching English to adults from Latin America online, and full-time RV life. I’ve always thought Travel Writing would be fun. I'm pretty sure I'm a creative subtype but have some dominant characteristics. I'm a self-employed landscape horticulturist and designer, painter, and am often called quirky or hippie/flower child, but I also enjoy project managing and have no trouble bossing people around. When I've been a manager, I would scatter compliments like rainbow confetti.

I don’t vomit rainbows 😂😂😂😂 just my brain and mind and heart do. I don’t only have INTJs in my life, I’m married to an INFJ so therefore, I’ve evolved haha. I only know and am related to like 20 INTJs. And my hubs was mistyped as an INTJ… by like professionals😂😂. He has Fe, we checked 😂. I’m not positive EVERY day, I can swirl into a downward existential crisis. I’ve done the small business owner, acted as a child and damnit yes I’m a nurse who is a lactation consultant which is basically a counselor and I love HR like Psychology. 😂😂😂😂❤❤😊😊😊😊. I’ve done a lot more than that. Hmmmm not sure which one I am yet, but I loooove this episode 😂😂.

I am! But I work in emergency and I couldn’t work anywhere else. Every day is different, there’s always something new to learn. You can connect with people in some of their worst times and you have a real opportunity to make a positive impact. And emergency values using your brain over ticking boxes and blindly following protocol
Do you like it? I am about to apply to nursing school! I actually want to work in ED/ER! I might switch to PEDs after, but I heard it is good with an ENFP personality. Making a positive impact is what I also want to do (but I know there are drugrees and alcoholics that are regulars that don't want to get better.) Do you recommend that nursing field for ENFP nurses or any other field of nursing?@@sineadnowlan2449
