It’s very ready-to-wear vs the whimsical avant-garde we’re used to thanks to Jeremy. It’s not a bad first collection, just not wow and I think that’s what everyone was expecting. I’m interested in seeing where it goes from here.

This feels lazy…I’m not sure if this is an intentional pallet cleanser for the label, but it’s a no for me as a whole. There are some pieces here and there (few and far in between as they may be) but NO.
@@alexvillaism I know they go back to the original Moschino style but Jeremy's design is selling and always give a wow effect, but this look is just like all brands are doing right now, which are plain and boring.
Based off the comments section I thought Id hate the collection.. Now, upon seeing it I think it definitely isn't a flop. Love the cast choices, the styling and some pieces here and there... Could it have been more exciting design wise ? - probably!! But it does serve that early 90s vibe for real😑🥃 ... And I love it

You don't know Moschino if you think Jeremy Scott's tenure was a better choice than Adrian Appiolaza. This debut and his second collection at Moschino embody Franco Moschino more than Jeremy Scott ever has.
I had my doubts about this change & I was right about it. Jeremy Scott had such a mind and even if some of the collections felt s but silly it was always clearly Moschino. This is plain, boring, unimaginative, basic, you name it. It‘s no fun at all and where Moschino used to stand out with Jeremy Scott‘s creativity it now fades into the background and could easily be confused with any other boring brand.
Directionless and dissapointing! Appart from the huge amount of beige this was not cohesive or stylish, it didn't felt fresh and new and that's concerning giving this is Adrian Appiolaza's first collection. It felt like a watered down version of Alessandro Michele's Gucci
Besis!!
For me Moschino means color, joy, unexpected shapes and patterns, creativity, childhood vibes, logos, many gold chains, many details etc. I did not like this collection. The colors used were too dark, I did not like the shape of the clothes, I did not like the fabrics used, I did not like the styling. I only partially liked the red heart shaped bag. It was a really sad collection for Moschino from my point of view, uncomparable with Jeremy Scott's previous collections for Moschino.
Extremely boring and uninspired. This doesnt even look like Moschino, Jeremy ALWAYS had very clear visions and deep conceptual themes for EVERY single show, even his first one (McDonald's) objectively this looks so depressing, sad, arbitrary and looks like they just threw a bunch of random stuff together (Ie. The ties and the layering) this is so lazy and Tragic tbh
Like the original Moschino, and I loved it. Clever and beautiful.
Yes but boring, nobody gonna buy this..
Its not as in your face as Jeremy but there are beautiful cloths heres, and some subtle camp and comedy. LOVE!!!!

I loved this collection! The pop of colors, the graphics, the men’s suiting combined with super feminine ruffles. I really enjoyed this.
I dunno... Need time to digest it. Definitely different from what we used to see under Jeremy Scott.
I miss Jeremy

Neutral trend will sell well in Europe NYC LA . Beautiful fabrics.
amazing!!
sooo bad. it doesn't look at all like the original

Perfect!❤️
Nice😍

This is so boring! Compared to Jeremy’s version of moschino.
More like we were already fed up with Jeremy. This is what Moschino always should be.

Not a good start, for the new director.
Agreed! i was like that's not Moschino ... ooh wait Jeremy Scott isn't at the helm anymore... so sad
Agree. It‘s truly atrocious and just goes to show how important Jeremy Scott had become for Moschino & how severely he‘s missing now.
His dog was cute...
Agreed
You should wear first Franco Moschino's desing and then compare
