You can feel Dionne’s pain in that interview. Whitney was SO excited that morning to go to the pre-Grammy party. That’s what makes her passing so sad. Very sad. No one expected it.

I used to listen to Dionne Warwick...and most of her songs over and over when I was in high school. Just loved her voice. That is one talented family....like the Jacksons.

I know that there are a lot of hoopla around Whitney's death, but Dionne knew in advance about Whitney's death. It would have been impossible for her not to have known. Did you ever questioned as to why Whitney's family or mother did not control her body after death? Why or how could Clive Davis call all the shots and told to let her body lie until the Grammy's was over? How could Clive arrange for her funeral and actually bring Whitney's body to the Baptist Church ONLY with lady Dionne? Lady Dionne was the one who made it possible. Would you let everyone take over funeral arrangements for your loved ones or your child? Type in: Whitney Houston...Ritual...Egyptian Sarcophagus at Funeral, and you will be amazed. All of the illuminati brotherhood was there with Miss Warwick looking homeless in blue jeans. Now why not act as if you care at any funeral let alone your cousin? It cannot be simply written off as her style when we have never seen her look as trashy. No stranger is walking around, so no one knows about what is taking place behind the church.

      *****
Thank you for writing. I have indeed investigated all of what you speak about. Whitney's ritual sacrifice, during the party., etc. The Illuminati connection, and the fact that Clive Davis is heavily hooked into all of that. Things are never as they seem...in this world. So very sad...The same thing with Michael J.

I was in 3 scenes of The Bodyguard and it was fun. I'm just sad about Whitney and I can imagine her family and Dionne Warwick's sadness. Death isn't something "we get over".....that never happens, all we can do is continue with our lives. But that pain never leaves us. I wish people who think of suicide as example WOULD UNDERSTAND how death effects us. I know Whitney didn't die by suicide but drugs can be so risky.
I went on Find A Grave to see her grave.

the scene where Whitney stands on the stage dressed in silver...I was in the small audience...the large scene of audience I was in also and in the late PM that perticular night I did the scene where she gets out of the limo to go into the Oscars. I wore a royal blue jacket and was outside in the higher banisters by a sign held up....it was a long morning and a long night and those scenes took about 4 days to shoot.

What is the deal with everyone hating the interviewer. In recording repeated sounds may be annoying, but in real life, in a real conversation, someone being as attentive and empathetic (her understanding yeah at 4.37 for example) as this interviewer is hard to find, and should be valued if you find it. Sorry if her kindness sounds annoying on recording because of how it picks up, but in real conversation you don't hear every single little sound, you just get the message of the understanding. If she's considered horrible then there's not a good talk to be found.

Since my young year I fond Dionne Warwick a very attractive women. I love this women, very intellect and speak surely the truth and with respect for what is the best for all. Nobody except those that were around Withney know what is really happen that evening/-night. Opinions in the air: Let say it was a heart artery rupture or something as that. I lost a friend two year ago with that issue. Strong young men, big voice, visit a week before my home place in good health. Yes he smoke from time to time marihuana or drink but is that the reason. It is a combination of much factor, a good car and there broke something vital, the care is die but can be restored. Hume been is an structure from million combination. It is very pity that so handsome and exited women need to go from this earth. I mis the way Withney moves, sing, talk, she had an pure and good heart, she was sure for much people an wanted personality, humorous, good mother. Again a simply good women that had bad luck to walk everyday around in an stressful industry that ask to much. If she had living in the time of the generation of her grand Sister Dionne Warwick than was this maybe not happen. Lady Dionne, I hope you bring a song were we find some memories of your little darling Whitney Houston.

Please give the interviewer a break! This interview was produced a few weeks after whitney's dead. So it was a very emotionel time both for Dionne and the interviewer. The interviewer seems to be very young and a bit nervous, and she makes the classic mistake by saying "uuhmm- uuhmm" many times. It's a mistake many beginners often do without knowing, and I'm sure she noticed this during the post editing production, or maybe even her boss told her. I believe Dionne had her with Burt Bacharach. She was recording with him in the sixties. Look at them together

I wonder how the church ⛪ family felt when the news of Whitney transition happened. Prayers to those who truly loved her authentic as they played during those moments when the Pastor or the music director wasn't watching. It's more important to have those close relationships rather than a World who has selective love when all the notes are correct or when you mixed up or not messed up now you're in your culture. Limitations of rejection when we are selective before the last curtain call!!! Thanks Dionne for sharing your pain!! I don't know either of you but I do know love regardless of the shortcomings we experience in this life!!

In 1981 I was present at a Dionne Warwick concert.
It was at a rather small venue where a well known distillery sold tables and alcoholic beverages to the patrons during the show.
At one point at the concert, she stopped songing, the music stopped, and she said that she would continue when the servers stopped taking orders!
From that moment on, I have disliked her!
Also, what about the "psychic scam" she was involved in!

They commentator I feel was trying to be as sensitive to the celebrity, yet family member as she could, remaining professional but human. I wasnt distracted at all by any uhms ahs or the sort. This was a great interview and Dionne Warwick is always of star quality whenever she is in that role. Give these ladies credit for having an open interview on both sides. No one has to live up to OUR standards.

While Krissy death is very obvious who is responsible for that , i still don't understand Whitney's death and what killed her. What I do know is were not getting the truth, the whole story. There are so many things that are suspect and don't add up.

Much respect for Dionne. I think (my opinion) that this interviewer is horrible. Typical ET. Looks the part and is pretty...kinda. She is awful as an interviewer. No respect to true talent. Shameful that ET allowed her to interview a legend.

Hell no! There are some similarities, but she clearly was cissy and johns kid! Dionne is Cissy's sisters kid. Dionne got the biggest nostrils I ever seen, her boys got em too.

She is grieving. It's hard to talk about someone she considers a daughter being dead on national TV. Perhaps some "ah hums" could be understood in this case.
