Wow that was deep Marco! Was your BlueROV equipped with the aluminum electronics enclosure? Also wonder whether you just use the standard vacuum test prior to the dive and do any special preparation maintenance of the o-rings and cable penetrators? I guess if there is no oxygen at those depths anything in there since the 60s would be well preserved?

yes, heavy configuration, aluminum tubes with cobalt connectors, it is a configuration tested up to 500 meters by the friends of SORS RICERCHE SPECIALI who are based here in Italy in Turin. I have the 4mm cable with a single twisted pair and it is 300m long, in fact the maximum depth of Lake Iseo is 260m. I then added some foam to increase the buoyancy of the ROV because in the battery tube I put another 12 cell li ion 18650 battery pack which powers the headlights with 5000 lumen each and also to support the weight of the headlights in addition to the arms, a GoPro11 and T HOUSING aluminum housing guaranteed up to 250m. Lake Iseo has an unexplored bottom, with the tanks and in trimix I reached up to 102m, but then for decompression reasons you can stay for a few minutes, so now I'm having fun with the ROV. The lake is full of interesting wrecks, I certainly know of a seaplane plane whose engine we found at 33m, a helicopter that crashed in the 80s, bombs and war remnants thrown away by the retreating Germans in 1944, and many cars thrown away after thefts or some trucks also fell into the lake. For example, a month ago after an accident on a road that passes next to the lake, a truck trailer ended up in the lake and is believed to be at a depth of 240m, or 3 months ago a group of German tourists with a motorboat and a little drunk they lost a 22 year old girl who fell from the boat and was never found again.
