There's so many good ones from the past that it makes me wonder why they sometimes bring back the same scents over and over (I like both of these scents but Strawberry Poundcake and Champagne Toast...so many repackages for every season is crazy to me when some of these were one and done!) In a land long ago, and far away...BBW had a Nutcracker scent, and a Sugarplum Fairy scent. I remember Nutcracker being nutty vanilla with a tad of mint. Sugar Plum Fairy was more like Sugar Plum Swirl (would love those back). Also, would like Merry Cherry Cheer with the Amaretto note. I am on the bandwagon for Hot Cocoa and Cream as well. I also like Raspberry Sugar. Thanks for memory lane. That Marshmallow scent had gift sets with body butter and body cream. That body butter was sooooo delicious. I bought 3 sets when they were 75% off and used all of them myself lol. Lovely video, thanks so much for the time that goes into your videos.
I know I'm watching this video at a weird time, but supposedly Open Sky is coming back this fall. I've heard people talking about the some of the fall releases, ans this one has been mentioned. I never got to try this one, so I'm looking forward to this year!

I remember Cranberry Twinkle! It was the only B&BW scent I had that year, I was like 15. I remember it being like a black currant/ blackberry cream scent, with a hint of marshmallow. It was so yummy and creamy, and I feel like it was way better than winterberry wonder imo.
From 2019 I enjoyed Snowy Citrus Swirl. Not a typical holiday scent but really yummy. I ended up with several from the land of sweets as well. Back then I only bought the body creams and so unfortunately they have all gone bad and been thrown away. 😢
Of the ones you mentioned, I'd want to try Cranberry Twinkle, Sugar Plum Swirl, Ginger & Cardamom, and Spiced Gingerbread Swirl. I also want Merry Cherry Cheer to come back, so I could try it. I wish they'd bring back Be Enchanted and A Thousand Christmas Wishes. (I just bought a set of ATCW from ebay, because the cream I have smells so good!) I like a frosty pomegranate that smells fruity, not perfume-y. We have a tube/bottle of Electric Blue Sky at work. I was wondering what collection it had come from!

if you want a chocolate mint scent i suggest, for this year, the victoria secrets frostmelt with the dove peppermint bark. it won't be the same but i thik you'd enjoy it

Agreed on the packaging, I see lots of pretty packaging now but there's just something about some of the older styles that are the perfect blend of fun, colorful and festive! I'm surprised that candle hasn't come back in a while...it used to be every single year! 😦 That and Pumpkin Apple are my favorites for Thanksgiving candles!

Back in the 90’s or early 2000’s they had a gingerbread lotion that was in a bottle shaped like a maple syrup jug. It was adorable and it smelled divine! I would love to see something like that again! There was body care called Merry Mistletoe in the 90’s (I think 🤔). It was very pine smelling and I loved it, too. I still have my old bottles of both of these and I take them out every once in awhile just for a sniff 😁 It takes me back ❤

Yes, yes, yes! I remember getting Christmas Cocoa and Mint for Christmas and absolutely falling in love with it instantly!! If they ever bring it back i am for sure stocking up!! Im so happy im not the one that remembers this fragrance.
Hi Melissa! I’m a new subscriber and a new bath & body works shopper, but I’m obsessed! I looked on my local for sale website and someone is selling a lot of unused mists, I’m tempted to buy a few of them! They have a few that sound really interesting, but I’m nervous about buying them from a human and not a store LOL
I wish they would bring back Merry Cherry Cheer - the original version with the amaretto. They took that out of it the next year and it wasn't quite as good.
Something about those notes for Merry Marshmallow makes me wonder if Fresh Sparkling Snow is the newer version of that one.... Land of Sweet was so good! I loved Fresh Lemon Snowdrop. I just used up my last lotion last winter, but I still have a bit of the mist. Santa's Blueberry Shortbread was so good...I would also accept them bringing back Blueberry Sugar Pancakes. I'm not a big cocoa scent fan in body care, but I hope it comes back for all the people who love it. Thanks for the video!
I remember Velvet Tuberose, it actually was a part of their signature collection for a number of years during somewhere between 2005-2010 I believe. It might have made appearances after that too but I don't remember. 🌹

So many scents that I don't know as not into BBW back then. BUT when you showed the Ginger & Cardamom - man oh man was that a WINNER and here's what I don't understand; had the cream for years and it hasn't gone bad/separated.
Definitely, a lot of these scents are from "back in the day" and some where even super short lived...like that Red Velvet Cheer and the Christmas Cocoa & Mint were only on the sales floor for a matter of 2 weeks or so before being clearances at the Semi Annual Sale and then never to return! 😨 Super elusive! Yesss that Ginger & Cardamom was everything! And I know exactly what you mean...I constantly get questions about the quality of my old products since the majority of my collection is from the years 2015-2019 but out of everything I have, I've only had about 2-3 body creams go a bit chunky/yellow and that's it! It wasn't even the super duper old ones either...Everything still smells super fresh and looks good too. I think BBW just made better quality products back then...🫣😅

@MelissaC I believe that the yellowing of the cream is due to the vanilla note. It doesn't mean it's bad. But if the consistency changes, as u said, then it's time to say good bye. Lol
@@shelbylou02 Yeah, I have quite a few that are yellow, but I don't worry about that as long as they smell good. I've bought some that came yellow before purchasing anyways just because of that weird reaction to vanilla notes! 🤷♀ Weird but BBW doesn't seem worried about it! LOL 🤣
You're lucky to still have some those! For some reason their cranberry scents were memorable back then. The Gingerbread Latte was so good, but when it changed to Spiced Gingerbread Swirl, I ended up giving an extra bottle away. It was too harsh. It wasn't the same !
I know, I'm clinging to them now that they are so nostalgic to me and since s lot of them haven't made a reappearance in stores (yet!) Agreed in the Cranberry...I feel like Winterberry Wonder smells good but it doesn't have as strong if a cranberry scent to me...just like "winter fruits." 😅 Another cranberry scent I really enjoyed was Sugared Cranberry Cider from a Fall collection. I liked both gingerbread scents, but I can see the Spiced Gingerbread being too spicy for some people!

I really love Santa's Blueberry Shortbread, it's one of those ones that I was like, "yeah, it's nice 👍🏼" when it was released, grabbed some during a big body care sale, and then a year later when I started using it I was like "THIS IS SO GOOD!" 😂 🫐 Oh yeah, I'm using a Winterberry Ice pocketbac in the car and it's really nice! I hope some of the yummy orange notes come out. Always like orange in body care. 🍊 I'm glad you're enjoying the vault/throwback/history components of my videos, they are my favorite subject when it comes to BBW! 🤎
Not Christmas but I would LOVE for BBW to bring back Black Amethyst! It was one of my first scents I bought with my own money. I still have some shower gel in a soap dispenser and I refuse to use it until they bring it back! Also Rice Flower and Shea, PS I Love You, Aromatherapy Vanilla Verbena, and Country Chic!
I still have my lotion of Merry Marshmallow Kiss, I wish it would come back too. Cranberry Twinkle actually sounds good too, so I am not sure why I didn’t get that one. Although, I have never enjoyed the dry down of Winterberry Wonder on myself, so if it was similar to that, that could be why I don’t have it. I remember the packaging of Red Velvet Cheer, but I don’t remember smelling it. I look at it now and am kicking myself for not picking it up for the packaging alone. I still have a tiny bit of the Gingerbread Latte from the first release in the lotion. I also have Spiced Gingerbread Swirl left in my collection. I enjoy both gingerbread scents, but I do have a tendency to sneeze a lot when I wear them so I enjoy them both in small doses. ☺️ Sugar Plum Swirl is wonderful, bring it back! Gosh, I don’t remember Marshmallow Magic or that collection at all; that’s so crazy. Hot Cocoa & Cream is always good, I’m down to only my minis in that scent. Land of Sweets; bring it all back! I've never bought it for myself but I've smelled it on paper cards for years. Isn't that Red Velvet Cheer adorable, I loved that whole collection's packaging. It has everything I love: Lots of color, woodland critters, but still fun and a little bit cartoony, but not too much that it's corny. Yeah that Marshmallow Magic was a weird one...I feel like that whole collection was swept under the rug. It barely had time on the sales floor, it almost felt like they were just testing it out or something! Super weird! @@MelissaC Merry Marshmallow Kiss is a good scent, but the name would suggest it would smell like marshmallow predominantly and that isn’t the case. When I first put on the lotion it smells like sweet pear with a bit of raspberry in there, then you get the floral notes. Now I’m not a fan of jasmine and I really don’t smell much of it in the lotion. I’m getting more of a sweet white floral accord that I don’t dislike. As it settles on my skin I do get a slight woody or maybe even green woody note that for some reason blends really well with the vanilla in this scent. Oddly it does smell sweet and fluffy, I know it doesn’t sound like it would, but it does. So the other thing about this scent is I can’t wear it at night, it literally keeps me awake. I’m sure that’s just a personal thing I have going on with me and this scent. It’s a really versatile scent though, I could wear this in casual settings and I could dress it up. The lotion I have left actually is quite strong and has some staying power. I think if it does ever come back you should definitely try it. As a side note, the packaging is absolutely adorable! 🩵 We definitely share some common scents that we love.
Ginger and cardamom legit sounds so good. I picked up a ginger orange aromatherapy hand soap for the late winter when I want something warm and calming 😊

I have been waiting for Gingerbread Latte to come back. I only had the shower gel and fell in love with it. Unfortunately they had no more at the time. I was so hopeful this year when I heard a Gingerbread scent was returning. What a let down. I don’t like it all all it’s not sweet and yummy. Bath and Body really knew how to do packaging years ago. I am not a fan of all this faceted. I love the designs and pictures

Back in the 90’s or early 2000’s they had a gingerbread lotion that was in a bottle shaped like a maple syrup jug. It was adorable and it smelled divine! I would love to see something like that again! There was body care called Merry Mistletoe in the 90’s (I think 🤔). It was very pine smelling and I loved it, too. I still have my old bottles of both of these and I take them out every once in awhile just for a sniff 😁 It takes me back ❤
I really miss when they shared more notes! I feel like they really dumbed it down. I also like the more whimsical packaging. This years' actually looks pretty cute. I haven't picked anything up in a couple of months! I'm trying to use up some product first.
Yes, yes, yes! I remember getting Christmas Cocoa and Mint for Christmas and absolutely falling in love with it instantly!! If they ever bring it back i am for sure stocking up!! Im so happy im not the one that remembers this fragrance.
Hi Melissa! I’m a new subscriber and a new bath & body works shopper, but I’m obsessed! I looked on my local for sale website and someone is selling a lot of unused mists, I’m tempted to buy a few of them! They have a few that sound really interesting, but I’m nervous about buying them from a human and not a store LOL
I wish they would bring back Merry Cherry Cheer - the original version with the amaretto. They took that out of it the next year and it wasn't quite as good.

Land of Sweet was so good! I loved Fresh Lemon Snowdrop. I just used up my last lotion last winter, but I still have a bit of the mist. Santa's Blueberry Shortbread was so good...I would also accept them bringing back Blueberry Sugar Pancakes. I'm not a big cocoa scent fan in body care, but I hope it comes back for all the people who love it. Thanks for the video!

I remember Velvet Tuberose, it actually was a part of their signature collection for a number of years during somewhere between 2005-2010 I believe. It might have made appearances after that too but I don't remember. 🌹
Wow that was awesome 🎉🎉 I stumbled across bbw back in 2017 on a trip to Hawaii and was hooked great to see all those old scents ❤ I'm from New Zealand and we don't have bbw so I order online

So many scents that I don't know as not into BBW back then. BUT when you showed the Ginger & Cardamom - man oh man was that a WINNER and here's what I don't understand; had the cream for years and it hasn't gone bad/separated.
Definitely, a lot of these scents are from "back in the day" and some where even super short lived...like that Red Velvet Cheer and the Christmas Cocoa & Mint were only on the sales floor for a matter of 2 weeks or so before being clearances at the Semi Annual Sale and then never to return! 😨 Super elusive!
Yesss that Ginger & Cardamom was everything! And I know exactly what you mean...I constantly get questions about the quality of my old products since the majority of my collection is from the years 2015-2019 but out of everything I have, I've only had about 2-3 body creams go a bit chunky/yellow and that's it! It wasn't even the super duper old ones either...Everything still smells super fresh and looks good too. I think BBW just made better quality products back then...🫣😅

@MelissaC I believe that the yellowing of the cream is due to the vanilla note. It doesn't mean it's bad. But if the consistency changes, as u said, then it's time to say good bye. Lol
@@shelbylou02 Yeah, I have quite a few that are yellow, but I don't worry about that as long as they smell good. I've bought some that came yellow before purchasing anyways just because of that weird reaction to vanilla notes! 🤷♀ Weird but BBW doesn't seem worried about it! LOL 🤣
If only quality kept things fresh, but unfortunately previous ingredients for BBW mostly contained preservatives and formaldehyde.

You're lucky to still have some those! For some reason their cranberry scents were memorable back then. The Gingerbread Latte was so good, but when it changed to Spiced Gingerbread Swirl, I ended up giving an extra bottle away. It was too harsh. It wasn't the same !
I know, I'm clinging to them now that they are so nostalgic to me and since s lot of them haven't made a reappearance in stores (yet!) Agreed in the Cranberry...I feel like Winterberry Wonder smells good but it doesn't have as strong if a cranberry scent to me...just like "winter fruits." 😅 Another cranberry scent I really enjoyed was Sugared Cranberry Cider from a Fall collection. I liked both gingerbread scents, but I can see the Spiced Gingerbread being too spicy for some people!

I been missing the gourmands this year. I was hoping jolly gingerbread would be a repackage of gingerbread latte but it’s not. I do like it but I want more gourmands!

Cocoa & mint would be amazing. Gingerbread village isn't very gingerbread this year but I'm glad I got it.Gingerbread swirl was better, Im down to my last 1/4 of a bottle of lotion. 😢 Holding on to my Snowy Citrus Swirl like you do with the blueberry set.

I really love Santa's Blueberry Shortbread, it's one of those ones that I was like, "yeah, it's nice 👍🏼" when it was released, grabbed some during a big body care sale, and then a year later when I started using it I was like "THIS IS SO GOOD!" 😂 🫐
Oh yeah, I'm using a Winterberry Ice pocketbac in the car and it's really nice! I hope some of the yummy orange notes come out. Always like orange in body care. 🍊 I'm glad you're enjoying the vault/throwback/history components of my videos, they are my favorite subject when it comes to BBW! 🤎
Not Christmas but I would LOVE for BBW to bring back Black Amethyst! It was one of my first scents I bought with my own money. I still have some shower gel in a soap dispenser and I refuse to use it until they bring it back! Also Rice Flower and Shea, PS I Love You, Aromatherapy Vanilla Verbena, and Country Chic!
I still have my lotion of Merry Marshmallow Kiss, I wish it would come back too. Cranberry Twinkle actually sounds good too, so I am not sure why I didn’t get that one. Although, I have never enjoyed the dry down of Winterberry Wonder on myself, so if it was similar to that, that could be why I don’t have it. I remember the packaging of Red Velvet Cheer, but I don’t remember smelling it. I look at it now and am kicking myself for not picking it up for the packaging alone. I still have a tiny bit of the Gingerbread Latte from the first release in the lotion. I also have Spiced Gingerbread Swirl left in my collection. I enjoy both gingerbread scents, but I do have a tendency to sneeze a lot when I wear them so I enjoy them both in small doses. ☺️ Sugar Plum Swirl is wonderful, bring it back! Gosh, I don’t remember Marshmallow Magic or that collection at all; that’s so crazy. Hot Cocoa & Cream is always good, I’m down to only my minis in that scent. Land of Sweets; bring it all back!

Oh that's so cool, what does Merry Marshmallow Kiss smell like to you? I'm going to give Winterberry Wonder a try in stores on my skin again. I've never bought it for myself but I've smelled it on paper cards for years. Isn't that Red Velvet Cheer adorable, I loved that whole collection's packaging. It has everything I love: Lots of color, woodland critters, but still fun and a little bit cartoony, but not too much that it's corny. Yeah that Marshmallow Magic was a weird one...I feel like that whole collection was swept under the rug. It barely had time on the sales floor, it almost felt like they were just testing it out or something! Super weird! @@MelissaC Merry Marshmallow Kiss is a good scent, but the name would suggest it would smell like marshmallow predominantly and that isn’t the case. When I first put on the lotion it smells like sweet pear with a bit of raspberry in there, then you get the floral notes. Now I’m not a fan of jasmine and I really don’t smell much of it in the lotion. I’m getting more of a sweet white floral accord that I don’t dislike. As it settles on my skin I do get a slight woody or maybe even green woody note that for some reason blends really well with the vanilla in this scent. Oddly it does smell sweet and fluffy, I know it doesn’t sound like it would, but it does. So the other thing about this scent is I can’t wear it at night, it literally keeps me awake. I’m sure that’s just a personal thing I have going on with me and this scent. It’s a really versatile scent though, I could wear this in casual settings and I could dress it up. The lotion I have left actually is quite strong and has some staying power. I think if it does ever come back you should definitely try it. As a side note, the packaging is absolutely adorable! 🩵

I have been waiting for Gingerbread Latte to come back. I only had the shower gel and fell in love with it. Unfortunately they had no more at the time. I was so hopeful this year when I heard a Gingerbread scent was returning. What a let down. I don’t like it all all it’s not sweet and yummy. Bath and Body really knew how to do packaging years ago. I am not a fan of all this faceted. I love the designs and pictures
