In all honesty not a big fan of the labs. Like it seems like a decent server but the labs part just doesn't seem like DayZ
Thank you! And I love chopper. I’d watch regardless and I have and what he plays is his choice but labs feels dull. I LOVED it when it dropped and I think nezar had the best server drop of all time. But there’s no endgame. Spawn-go labs- die. But there’s no real reason to go labs. The 338s aren’t even strong. You can get most end game loot just up north and most people have 40 keys in their base cause they’re so common. There’s nothing on labs, even raiding, that makes me get that “holy shit we just came up” feeling
@@celticbandit548 agreed. it's a neat server but im a bigger fan of the more vanilla feel. once you get to insane tappers and tier 6 jug armor, it's just not fun because you can't get your foot in the door unless it's wipe day.
@@ghomerhust exactly. Like in all honesty seeing creators getting tappers and juggs is fun, but when theres no real challenge to getting them asides from hitting key cards and risking being shot, that's when DayZ becomes just another shooting game.

We once built a simple but unraidable base with doors leading to honeycomb, just dead ends.
Last time we had been raided, they wasted some of their explosives attempting to blow through a few false doors before giving up on it.
All we had to do between raids is swap one of those walls for doors and keep changing which was the main entry way.
I am curious what server you played on? Most of that is HIGHLY against the rules on a mod server.

Would love to see an event like this with limited grenades, pox, and limited gas masks.
No respawn on explosives, but you can loot enemy.
Just can't trap own base.
But sniper spots, approaches etc would all be fair game.
Also with time passing benchmarks (or kills total) give increases in spawn timers (+5, +10, +20, all way to a minute).
Captains can pick bonus to enemy timers, or request airdrop.
Anyone can contest airdrops.
So either you get some good gear or enemy does.
But if you have enough kill pts, you could use drops to pull enemy from defenses and hope you can raid before they get airdrops or unlock a cache. Or just use it as another trap.
If no kills in x amount of time, small hordes could spawn.
Zombies, wolves, or even bears.
Have main base, then 2 or 3 outposts to capture. Need to take them (max 2 door raid?) To get caches to raid main.
Progressive battle. Snowball fight.😊
