- Hey everyone, Sour here. Today, I decided I'd go solo into a map called Deer Isle which is a very challenging map to take on alone. It holds many secrets that I wanted to uncover and it wouldn't be easy, but I was ready to give it a go. So as always, I hope you all enjoy.

Stephan, you will not be forgotten. We shall remember you as the one who talks before he shoots. RIP brother

Man Stephan was a real one, shame his story ended the way it did : (
For every hero, a thousand cowards.
For every brave death, a thousand senseless ones.
saddest movie scene
hes a nice frenchie
@@Play4Everz i think hes german
@@PaulZater as a french, this really sounds like a french accent, germans tend to have it more smooth from experience. I could be wrong tho
Stephan suddenly going silent and later seeing stephans lifeless body hit me like a train. The background score really escalated the emotion here.
Damn I really should stop looking at comments
@@Hujecokk for real.
Its a video game lol
I get more emotional watching these videos than watching movies
500th like
Man losing Stephan actually hurt, like we were together from boot camp or something. He was gone forever...
Seeing his lifeless body ACTUALLY brought tears to my eyes
55:46 that wolf jump scared the crap out of me
Same
Same but 55:46
Same!
same i jumped lol
oml same dude
RIP Stephan. The humble "I could have shot you easily, but I decided to talk instead" makes you a legend, and legends never die.
54:09 "Hello, Stephan?" heart breaking
WTF DUDE!
I started playing DayZ with some friends a few days ago and as a complete noob, i searched for some gameplay to learn something...
But this is not gameplay, this is a real movie or tv show, holy im getting goosebumbs.
I can't believe we get this much quality content for free! It's like watching a movie. Your story telling is absolutely amazing.
I swear like I can live off these vids and be fine
Yes, now I can't watch others haha.
I just said this on his post earlier today
He really makes his content to the tee like sour keep this up and maybe become a dayz movie guy and get this official!
agreed af
Hey everyone, Sour here! Hope you enjoy the new video, apologies if I sound somewhat unwell in some of the voice overs, covid isn't fun! I'm still getting over the sinus side of it but good thing is I'm feeling better each day.
Next video is going to be on Livonia, hopefully shouldn't be too long until that one comes out too, it's another great adventure that I can't wait to share!
Thank you for all the support and I'll catch you in the next video or the next stream :)
😁
Hello I’m trying to figure out what server you played on a year ago in the 3 part video!!! It was on Livonia and the server looked perfect I would appreciate it if you remembered the server
oof sorry 'bout COVID-19 . I had it aswell so I understand the pain.
While watching i asked myself if you are ill or something cause of you voice. Dont dare to leave us without your great content ;P Get well soon dude
I've only gotten into you post Covid and didn't know but that's why I've sub'd as it's the voice that drew me in.
We will enjoy!
Dude, I didn't think I'd shed a tear over Stephan. I do hope he watched this video, cause it would be cool for him to know how big of a help he was to you.
I love this comment ❤
It’s meeting people like Stephan that makes this game worth it
True. But the good guys would not stand out as much if there were no negative elements.
If only there were more trust worthy players like your self and Stephen. It's easy to get into a conflict gun fight, but no were as interesting as making a trust worthy friend/friends and go on a journey.
I normally dont approach players in the north who are extremely geared. They have allot to lose most of the time and taking the risk of being backstabbed by a random dick means they just shoot on sight. On the coast in my experience is the best place to either find your best friends or worst enemies
@Christoffer Högman Do you not have any Perm friends to play DayZ with?
@Christoffer Högman It's okay, I can play with you if you want and be a new friend.
@@tmoney1487 the geared guys I've met kos before I ever even spot them , while I'm carrying sticks and and a fucking shiv , so I doubt they're worries about being backstabbed. Ever. They even camp my body so I can't even come grab the backpack off it.
Fully geared mind you. I'm convinced most vet players are , un-Ironically, no life losers with nothing better to do. At least a RUclipsr stands to gain some content by trolling fresh spawns.
Or even worse when you go on an adventure with someone and he ends up shooting you in the head
Rest in peace Stephan, you were a true fellow, may your kind hearted intentions serve as inspiration to all of us!
I don't even play DayZ, but your videos are so much fun to watch.
The fact that Stephan is remember so fondly is heart warming. Ik he's some random guy that was found in a game but he was a friendly kind hearted person (from what we saw)
Stefan, keiner wird dich vergessen - du bist in unseren Herzen! ❤
28:30 props for that transition. You had me glued to the screen for an hour long, fantastic video!
holy shit, I didn't even notice it till I clicked the timestamp
He ender pearled
Hearing how you speak to people is somewhat refreshing
Most people keep their voice low and sorta give the vibe of not actually "wanting" to talk
When you speak it's very friendly, cheerful and welcoming.
Its sad the way Stephan went out but at least he made it that far with you
Steffen* but yeah, what is it with that voice, he sounds like someone who should work with children, maybe a kid's tv show host or someone who teaches or instructs ppl. So damn positive, adventurous and un-judgemental. I want him to read stories for me all day.
I love this movie. It was a sad time when Stephan lost his life. It always happens that someone we like in a movie is killed. :(
I hope that one day Stephan finds this video and gets into contact with you and play more games together. He has a heart of gold.
You really created a new action hero. Friendly even wholesome but so deadly when needed, while being articulate. 10/10
Rest in peace Stephan, that was a great duo. Thanks for this amazing video Sour!
Holy shit, this is one of best DayZ videos I've ever seen...I was immediately engaged. I have to get myself a PC AGAIN. I've been playing daily on Xbox but the smooth gameplay on PC is very enticing. Lost my PC back in 2016 and haven't really got myself back into despite the 10 plus years of amazing adventures. Thank you for this high quality video.
it is running pretty good on xbox series x, and as far as i know you are able to connect mouse and keyboard to your xbox.

Damn your smooth edits, silky voice, charming accent, and cinematic experience.
I’ve never even heard of this game before and I’ve already watched 3 of your videos.
Why can’t I stop watching?
First video I’ve watched of yours. This is a cinematic masterpiece.
Oh my god, I almost never comment on anything but this time i have to. I just found your channel a few days ago and watched through all the series you put out and thinking yesterday, how awesome it would be if you uploaded another episode.
You are also the only reason i started to play dayz again for the first time since the arma mod and already had to experience some amazing moments like meeting other people, some friendly others not so :)
Thank you for all the amazing content!
Welcome back! Thanks for watching I appreciate that a bunch :D
In the same boat as Kazza here. It's been years since I played DayZ but am now addicted to the game, thanks to you. Your content is truly spectacular! hope you recovery goes smoothly, COVID's not fun at all. looking forward to your future videos :)
Thank you GM, glad to hear you’re enjoying the content and the game! And I’m getting there when it comes to Covid, still feel tired but it’s getting better :D
To the original poster: I’m down to play if you wanna get into things like this!
The entire adventure had me on my toes and biting my nails. Thank you SO MUCH Sour. You're a true legend.
God, honestly, someone could take this and turn it into a real movie, narration and all, just live action. When you and Stephen were scoped in to the left of that orange tree I got up close to the monitor to try and spot where they were. Hands down the most captivating gaming content on YT, if I'd smashed the subscribe button any harder I'd be down a mouse.
This will be good, I'm saving this for later to watch with a cider
My plan exactly!
Wth ate you are girl your not a boy drinking a cider right have a beer there way better
Alcoholic
You need alcohol to enjoy a video. Pathetic.
@@puertoricanpapi1356 judgemental much?
6:14 I love how in one clip, the zombie is kinda far, then in the next clip he's dead on the floor. Keep up the good work!
This was simply amazing.. Well done to you and Stephan for this adventure, thanks for brining us along with you. RIP Stephan
I really miss this content here on YT - the music, the story telling - the voice - the whole experience!! It is always like wachting a movie.
Love your content Sour 😁😁
Hey Sour! Love the stories that you share with us and the editing is perfect :))
This has to be one of the best produced videos I have ever seen on youtube. I was hooked from start to finish. I hope there will be a part 2.
Hey Sour, I'm new to your channel. I play Hunt Showdown and before that cs. I never really got into the sim survival genre and didn't care to, couldn't see the appeal. but your videos are astonishing. Absolutely remarkable. I'm completely addicted to the cinematic quality of your edits. Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures and keep up the good work.
Thank you Sanjuro for the kind words, means a bunch!
Of all the adventures I've watched on your twitch this was my favourite. The map, the fights, exploring new territory and and the sheer intensity of hunting that guy at the entrance to the bunker. iirc there were two pack of wolves agro-ed and they were soo loud it was deafening. Great vid brother... Thanks! :)
Simply amazing. What a Impressive way to bring us this adventure. The music, the map and the challenges were perfect. Thank you Sour and thank you Stephan!!
Sour, this really was an adventure to watch… normally i dont like long dayz videos… but i could not stop watching this one… what an amazing video… impressing! 👍👍👍😎
ikr! i've watched full budget movies that were less suspenseful than this!
I love the way you pie your corners, you clear rooms very efficiently
So glad you're back man, literally when I first started watching I was in a tough spot mentally and over thinking tons of stuff. Your videos kept me company and best of all happy! Thanks for such great content Sour
Thanks for the upload, love your channel!
Edit. Very “Last of Us” vibes with your music, I cannot wait for your new videos when they drop.
I love your videos bc they make me think of the few times (like tonight) that I’ve managed a 3v1 squad wipe when I’ve been playing solo and realize that you do that all the time. And you make it look easy.
I’m a lowly PS4 console player and tonight I managed to wipe an entire 3-man squad at Myshkino tents. They ambushed me and somehow I prevailed.
Quite a few too many beers in I decided to log on and play a little bit. I was lucky, tanked a few rounds before locating the shooters, used the AK to unload and wipe em out, somehow managed to flank the third and get lucky to get him too.
Only damage was that I almost ruined my plate carrier and helmet, but otherwise held on and stayed alive. Moments like this are why I will never stop playing this game. DayZ is such an awesome game.
Shoutout to how hard it is to master this insanely difficult game, on stream, making it look easy. You are a total pro dude.
Sour is an oasis, in the middle of jerk-Ustreamers in DayZ.
Thank you for preserving the little bit of positive roleplay only this game allows these days.
You have a very positive tone of speech during even the most violent encounters on Dayz, even when some random person rip out your internet cable you seem calm 😂👌
Dude that was so entertaining to watch! So glad you made it back from that fall!
Sour what an adventure this video entails. The storytelling and PVP was amazing. Watched the whole hour video in one sitting man keep up the quality videos much love man.
Man I'm loving these videos. The music, players you meet, the adventure and the real gritty survival feel you get from this is just mind blowing and 10/10. It's got me playing dayz again.
This game, this map, your storytelling, your editing, man.... what a ride :) So good!
Brings me back to all the drama I had in this game back in the early days, maybe time to revisit this game soon
That was a captivating piece of storytelling! Props to Stephan/Steffan 🙌
Wow, I was on the edge of my seat through the whole of this! Amazing content, I heard you on twitch explaining you like to take your time and improve the content and this has blew it out the water, amazing work, definitely the best watch I’ve had in a very long time. Can’t wait to see you back online! Hope you’re well. Harley 🤩
Recently got back into DayZ after a 5 yr hiatus. I got into PC gaming because I saw the Arma 2 DayZ mod back in 2011 and me and about 7 friends built PCs to play it. I still think the mod was better than standalone but man gettin back on DayZ brings back some nostalgia. Its so intense. At any point your life could be ended and I love friendly encounters. You never know what you are gonna get. There could be hours of slow, uneventful gameplay but then there are those moments you remeber for years to come. Just found your channel yesterday and Ive watched a few vids now. Great stuff!!!
Anytime I have a friend just getting into DayZ I always recommend your channel. I’ve learned a bunch from watching you play. Thanks for the new video Sour! Hope you feel well soon.
I didn’t know you streamed on twitch ! Definitely going to watch you live from now on! Love the content
Love watching you play man. Can’t always make it to the streams so I watch these when I can. Also, nice touch adding the MW2 lobby sound.
I’m a casual dayz player and occasional video maker. The amount of time and effort that must have gone into this is insane. Great job. All I can do is say thank you for the epic 1 hour of entertainment
Woah~~ that ending was soo good! This is the first thing Ive watched of yours, and its an absolute cinematic masterpiece. I enjoyed every single second of it, really well done!
RIP Stephan, he will never be forgotten.
45:50 That switch over to the MW2 Theme music soon as the door opened and he zoomed in was amazing
I cant believe how quality is this! These videos really show you actually put effort in these videos, Keep it up Sour!
The way you meet and interact with other players is very special you have a kind and gentle way of working together when you’re not murdering them from a mile away lol
The content is fire 🔥
Dude your editing is so clean and so pleasing as a viewer. This is always the most calming, but also the most intense content. Appreciate the work brotha
Sour!!! What an amazing story, the editing is next level it draws you into the content. Enjoyed every second of the video.
That was brilliant. Well worth the wait, and well worth your time spent editing. We did enjoy. Thank you.
I haven't played dayz since the arma 2 mod version but still love to watch this
its so much better now u should try it out again
Man, that was intense! I'm so thankful for people like you that upload these video's. I got to experience something, in a game I might never play, that was truly awesome. Even if I do end up playing the game, I likely would never be able to make it to that bunker. What a fantastic video. The thing I like about this game that Rust does not have is that death really means something. It makes a huge difference and because you can't just spawn back in, making friends is important, and that adds depth to the whole experience.
Hey Sour, Just got my high end gaming pc on Saturday and it'd be awesome to join in one of your adventures, love your content and paths you travel
This is so silly, but anyone know the song beginning from 43:57? Soursweet puts together the best soundtracks for his videos and I wish I could find some. Tried searching the lyrics I could just make out, and even listening apps but due to the dayZ sounds they can never pick it up hahah.
Josh Garrels, "Good friday"
@@bevanthomas7072 You're amazing, thank you!
@@Lovagelamb No worries. Somebody else mentioned the song name earlier in the comments section so I just made sure to pass it on. I'd have never found the song otherwise
What's the name of the song at 29:06 it sounds proper chill
Sour, you really inspire me. I caught myself more times than I could count with my jaw dropped to the floor watching this cinema masterpiece. Also, the fact you added music into this from the 2009 MW2.........you have me as a fan for life.
Absolutely epic buddy. I’ve never watched someone played DayZ before and you made the Experience feel like a movie. Definitely gonna watch more of what you make!

Possibly the best DayZ movie I've ever seen. ❤
Beautiful Map with some cool sights.
Thank you very much for this great entertainment and the time you spend editing these films.
Brilliant work Mr Soap! I remember watching the first part of this adventure live and seeing you go dark for 5 days was very confusing!
Amazing storytelling, thanks so much for what you do!
Dunno if this works in Day Z.. but if Stephan respawned ... I like to think he heard that alarm and had a smile on his face thinking “he made it”. 😂
Just passed the 54 minute mark where he tries to radio him again :’(
I don't play DayZ, but your videos are addicting to watch. Really nicely told with a calm, smoth voice. Thanks!!
Think this will be my forever favourite episode. Music and everything fits so well, 3rd time watching this and that moment you walk over Stephen’s body hits me hard every time
I love your content. I check all the time to see if you have anything new. And when you do my whole family will gather around and go on your adventures. Hands down the best attitude and best content that keeps me coming back. Can't wait to see your next adventure!!!
This makes me miss my DayZ days, the toxic fog and the bunker was new to me so maybe I’ll jump into the game again soon to explore it myself. Great movie/video!
Love what you do sour! I'm always taking away by the adventure and stories you make. I'm always waiting to see what comes next. Absolutely the best videos! Love what you do man. Keep up the great work 👍

That was awesome ! I been watching You're videos and good job on everything you do putting all this together for all of us. Thank you!
I found your channel and JLK’s channel a few weeks ago and y’all both got me super into Day-Z. Your content is so interesting and it has me glued to the game!
"So if you fancy watching a life" @ 00:21 is the best Twitch call-out that I ever heard.

This was so good and so well edited! I hope you continue to make these long-form videos with a goal/objective in mind :D
