it comes to something when you like the dam video before you watch it reason ..........................because you just know its going to have great content
Spotted an EMR roll on roll off skip in the yard you used to reverse into your first tip in Wembley! I worked in their yard in Chard, Somerset 13 years ago 😂 recognise that logo anywhere!
Another cracking vid, 13 mins tip - not unlucky for you lol! Dragonforce a very cool band! Wow that was one hell of a corner and wrong type of spinney lol Trimmed bushes too - I'm weak 😂, fair play you always crack me up! #MoreScott
i leave near wembley stadium the roads are always busy great video keep up with the good work im off to wales again next week keep up with the good work i enjoy the video
Thanks Scott for the awesome vid. Hopefully I’ll be on the road soon in my hgv 😜 passed the class 2 without a single minor now for the class 1 beginning of November 👍👍 I used to drive Cardiff busses but I lost some of my hair due to the stress of the job 😂😂 so fancied a change of career
13 minute tip, was that with a single or double handler? I load pallets onto flatbeds, quickest I've finished a load of 600 pallets is 20 minutes with a single set of forks. Loaded 520 pallets in 16 minutes the other day. My personal best. But I've passed my class 1 now, as of last week, so the countdown is on until I don't have to drive the forklift anymore :-)
My dad drives the black daf from Ireland with a cat walk and back bar all due up it is a 2016 look at my older videos on my channel i have lots of truck videos
@@ScottAndrews its one of those jobs (i will do that later, forget about it until the next time you turn them on) oh yeah I was going to do that, you would need a very tall pair of step ladders and do them at night so you can see where they are pointing when you adjust them. Great videos by the way
I think you got the right attitude, London is very dangerous, then London isn't so scary. but seeing you squirm on tight country lanes, and seeing how tight it is, is kind of more interesting. as nothing beats narrow country lanes, no way to see over hedges, no way to see the idiots doing 90 towards you, and suddenly finding a truck in their path, hmm maybe not such a good thing to show. ok the ones that can then reverse backwards rather than forcing the trucker to reverse backwards around a tight blind bend. would love to see forward facing trailer cams during something like that, so we get more of a prospective of where the trailer ends up with you having to take a different angle for a bend in the road, maybe making the view ultra wide. so trailer left, dashcam in the middle, and trailer cam right. but there again without bullet proofing the clamps to the trailer then not really advisable, especially with other drivers, plus a long drive before hand.
They both have their moments haha been thinking of ways I could set something up for the trailer. Depends whats on the back and where I go though. Usually the biggest issue is the timing
@@ScottAndrews ...re trailer-cams: don't make it too complicated...just provide a PoV from your eyes to both trailer mirrors....I'm really missing this in your great videos...take tis suggestion from someone with 3.75 mio miles of (accident-free) driving experience since 1974, half of which by HGVs in Canada & USA (the last 17 years, delivering heavy duty commercial vehicles - incl. oversized mobile cranes - from manufacturers to dealers; dealers to end-users and/or between two entities....that's known as the Drive-Away/Tow-Away industry....never drive the same vehicle twice...lol)
Keep going to somewhere that's safe to stop. Do a print out (from the tacho which records everything we do) and write down on the back why. Ideally you should be planning where to stop before you run out of time. Going over the 9 (can extend it to 10 hours a day, twice a week - but you need an extra 45min break to gain the extra hour) is frowned upon. Don't forget we can't work over 15 hours a day under the Working Time Directive (WTD) anyway, so if you're doing 10 hours driving, you're taking 2 45min breaks (two 4.5 hours driving time reset)... so that's 11.5 not to mention other bits and pieces such as checks, putting diesel in, etc. Generally in the UK we run out of Working Time before driving time. Continental work will be most restricted by driving time. It's confusing working to two standards.
Good luck Scott Andrews in London
Nice to see another Welsh Trucker on here 👌🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Always good scott very good driver love your humor

That music during the time lapse around 10 minuets is defiantly London calling by the clash just tweaked 😂

Can you start doing POV drive videos? Would be cool to see the driving from your eyes
Recorded a small section for an upcoming video (Possibly to be released on the 8th)
London all the way
Do a video about what life like as a hgv driver for new people thinking about becoming a driver

Oh Scott, you're a good man but know bugger all about London!
I'm not gonna argue there lol

I hardly ever record while doing the bags anymore
South to North when 👀🏴
Interesting to see your six spot lights on the top of cab are pointed low down
Keep meaning to point them slightly higher but always slips my mind. They're mostly for show anyway haha

What do truck drivers do if they do run out of driving time in a place they can't park over night

22:22 exactly all around the world drivers drive like that on the shoulder lane very annoying basically a daily thing for them
Is this from yesterday
I hate London, so I'd have to say I like farms better, I'm a country girl anyway,..
I missed how many minutes on that tip ?
13 If I didn't say lol
when a comedian decide to drive a truck.
