Finally, I’ve been waiting for a good turn-based RPG game and not like those MMO style RPG games, I am extremely hyped for this

this is genuinely the high quality game i’ve been waiting for! I am so hyped for this to be finished! I love all of the little details, like the music getting distorted at lower hp, the animations for everything, and the wonderful sound design, to name a few! i’m definitely subbing, i’m eager to see how the development will go!

The fact that there's mini games in each and every attack and defends (kind of like Mario rpg) makes me more intrigued in the game as its not just some ordinary click one button, wait, and then click another. The repeating presses and the timed presses means you are forced to be focused on the game instead of mindlessly tapping buttons and stuff. I'm so hyped for this!

this is awesome, i love that the music changes when you have a status effect or when you're low on health
it only changes if the health it is rolling down to is either below 5 or at 5
changes again if the health is rolling down to 0 or 1

@@UnknownNamedGuyOne thing I would say: Would you make the music go back to normal and then slow to a stop when your HP reaches 0?
@@risingstar09 it plays a loss music, so it doesn't need to do that like how it does for victory

I love the inspirations from ttyd aswell (counters - super guards, ball - power bounce, apple pie - that one item that makes user bigger while increasing attack which I forgot the name of) aswell as earthbound with its aesthetic. Really neat!
Love the Mario RPG aesthetic. Makes me want to play some of those games again, can't wait for this! It's unlike most boring RPGs on roblox, and gives a fun turn-based formula that I love!

The closest I've seen is Adventure Story by vetex. There's a few more, but Adventure Story is the closest I've found to this one

Turn based RPGs are too underrated, I’d love nothing more than to see this realized as a full game with multiplayer in it, as someone who loves the Mario and Luigi series and played Adventure Story, I’m already on board with this
Ever since Adventure Story, I as a Turn Based RPG enjoyer has been pretty bored for the last 2-4 Years. But this, this rekindles my hope for some decent Roblox Turn Based RPG

anims are so fluid and i can tell when they are gonna attack, being able to attack more than once is also very cool

YESSS, my love for Earthbound and the first 3 Paper Mario games mixed into Roblox is a concoction that must be explored more on this site. A rich story and action commands is what Roblox needs to really encapsulate Powering Imagination.

idk if ur a tester or a dev, but, i really do hope that the zombie staff could be implemented into the game to summon like 1 or 2 zombie companion(s) to assist you with moves like ''Push'' or smth with little hp (plus it does fit with the retro/old roblox feel in a way)

I missed these games on Roblox. I just got reminded of another rpg turn based game that got cancelled because apparently there wasn’t enough time to spend on the game (Adventure Story). It had potential but oh well
Little suggestion, you could make it so any remaining knight's after the king's death become enraged. Just thought of that. Game's looking great Im pretty hyped for it

i had to halve the border pixel thickness to half its size tho since this image
@@UnknownNamedGuy looks pretty clean! good job! i would suggest a different background colour for one of the menus to add some contrast to them.
@@posfind just to note, ui can't be a different color than what ur ui theme color is (it's a setting)
u can also see other players' color change based on wat ui color setting they chose
the menu afterwards doesn't use checkerboard to distinguish that ur past the first page easier

WOW. This looks sick as hell! Just like what Rave did, I am also a VERY. VERY big fan of turn based games, but I can't find anything good! (The one good I found had limited lives and HELL NO.) From what I've seen from this, this will fill my need for turn based games REALLY well.
