I have never heard a drummer like Roni Kaspi before, God bless her. She has all what it takes.

after watching that pianist I must say hes beyond the top tier of lets say 90% of the top tier in the game right now and Roni is top tier of the best jazz drummers fusion drummers drummers period and Avishai is so intune with his gift and hes very aware of GOD cause he feels and sees the chemistry flow in spirit hes otherworldly and surrounds himself with only the same kind of musicians top level and connected to the source of it all awesome they are

As with his trio with Shai Maestro and Mark Guiliana, Avishai Cohen has always introduced us to impressive "emerging" musicians. Now it is the same case with lchin Shirinov and Roni Kaspi. This music is pure magic.

I can't stop listening. I've tried other musicians, but they can't satisfy.. I'm still trying to put my finger on it.

How do they get to the same points at the same time while playing different times at different points… it is not a note thing I guess

Don't quote me cause I'm also not well versed on how jazz ensembles work, but I'm fairly certain it's based on measures. Usually there's sections for each musician to improvise, and depending on the length of the song they'll get more or less measures. Unless you're talking about polymeter, in which case I have even less of a clue, most likely something to do with math.
