This AMAZING rendition of Defying Gravity was recorded at Ellen's Stardust Diner, Broadway, in july 2015. The girl who plays Elphaba here had auditioned for the role at the Gershwin theater that day, and had gotten a callback! So don't be surprised if her face is all over broadway in a few months, the talent is real!

Fun Fact: 18 of the staff members left because they got casted on broadway!!! My best friend went to this diner last weekend and she sent me some videos, and It was amazing!!! This is now my dream place that I would love to go to!!!

This is amazing! I think I remember seeing a snippet of this vid a couple years ago & couldn’t find the rest of the video. This actually brought tears to my eyes in how good they were & even with the rest of the staff joining in. I haven’t seen the play yet but got the soundtrack. It’s one of my favorite songs. Lol! 🤣🥰🤩
