Great work Chris, your videos are getting better all the time. I like the CFMOTO 450 because it is a twin cylinder and not a single cylinder. That will give it both more power and make the ride smoother. The tank is of a good size 17ltres for this small bike and I suspect the fuel economy would be good too. Thanks and keep the reviews coming
Thanks Keith, I would estimate 400 plus klms out of a tank with normal riding. It's a good all round bike that will take you anywhere in comfort. Are you in in Australia or overseas because I know here I am getting much better fuel consumption on my 700Mt than Europe. Anyway thanks for watching, God Bless.
We bought two! Main reasons: Twin 270 crank, big tank, low seat, low(-ish) weight (not light, but a lot lighter than our Twins). What would make it even better, is a DCT/Semi-auto option and cruise control. This is the lighter Africa Twin that Honda never built.
Funny you say that, my brother and I have bought one for similar reasons. I don't agree about DCT as it has a slipper clutch and is light and easy to manage. This bike will dominate the market so I am heading to the dealer tomorrow because they finally have the keys to fire it up. Can't wait to get mine. Thanks for watching, God Bless.
Pretty much 200k then luggage. I call it a little big bike. It's a solid unit with everything I need and the seat is very comfortable not to mention the suspension. Once I get hold of it I will see how it is in the real world so stay tuned.
Been watching your rides on the 700MT so I’m not surprised you’d be interested in this. I reckon you change the rear sprocket to give the engine less revs in top gear.
Thanks Steve,, yes for a older fatter rider like me this bike will be easier to handle. There have been many times I wished I could veer off the road down a track but the 700 is not light and I have a few issues getting it up if I drop it. The 450mt for me will be a tourer more than anything else but can't wait to get it. Thanks for watching mate, God Bless
They are both good bikes but the 450MT in on another level. Finish, features and technology are much better. You have to remember that a lot of KTM tech has come across to this bike thats why the big demand. The Himalayan is a good machine and will have it's own followers but I would love to get on both bikes to compare. We should have more information very soon. Thanks for your comment.
are you keeping the 700 MT? Imagine that my original plan was to purchase the 450 but unexpectedly when I saw the 700 I changed my mind... 700 is definitely underrated in Italy .... everyone talks about the 450 only. I would say that there is a bit of a frenzy for all the "Rally" models this year
So true, yes I am keeping the 700mt for now because it's a good solid bike. It looks great and does everything well, I can't fault it. The 450MT is getting a lot of attention and for good reason, it is a good lightweight go anywhere bike which is easier to handle and maneuver. When I sat on it I was impressed with the comfort and suspension and ergonomics, there have been many times on long tips I wanted to go off road and explore some places but was not confident with the 700MT. Even though I mainly ride on the road this bike is comfortable and I am confident I can do more with it. I can say if I dropped my 700mt or even an 800mt it would be hard for me to recover but the 450 is light enough, maybe not as powerful but a great looking bike. Thanks for your comments and watching the channel. God Bless
Yes mate I can't wait to get it. So true most tests are pre planned so reality is different for all of us and for an older fatter bloke like me this bike makes sense. Stay tuned, thanks for watching. God Bless
Haaaaa good one. I bought it but I have to wait for my allocation. Over 400 pre sold in Australia and the first shipments are due end of May but I would not dare bore you with minor details. Thanks for watching don't forget to subscribe.
Sadly we Canadians wont see it till the fall which for us, basically means fuhhhggitabouit til spring '25 or atleast that what my local dealer said. Good for you Aussies tho
Same in Norway it shoul be here early spring they say at the dealer may-june i almost bought a Honda500 NX but i must wait for the Cfmoto who have tons of accesories and the Honda don't even have usb port or adjustable suspension and not spoked weels either and are a bit more expensive.
@@eddale5557 I just heard that there's a new Kove 800x later this year. 5+kg lighter with >2x HP. Bit more $$$ but its very interesting & might be worth the extra $. This delay might be a boon for us ruclips.net/video/ygQTIcCpxBg/видео.html
Yea I had to rush filming to avoid customers going in and out so not the best angle but I did give you a sexy intro of the bike before hand. When I get hold of mine I will shoot it from every angle don't worry, but thanks for watching, bless ya mate.
Go easy Dan my man. We are the bike enthusiasts and we know what we want. Buzz is a good bloke but he is a business man not a bike mad fanatic like us. I read the spec sheet a dozen times over that's why this bike is selling of the charts. I can't wait to get my hands on one just to do a no bull review in a real environment rain hail or shine. It does have traction control.. switchable ABS too
Yes I know but I did not want to spoil the moment 😅. The 450mt is a great practical go anywhere machine. Can’t wait to get mine. Thanks for watching.

He does now! 😀

The big question is the weight. It's 175 kg dry . So fuelled up with coolant and oil etc your looking at 200kg ?

Yeah it's not as light as I was hoping for
190 kg wet.
Just under 200 yeah. The T7 is only 7kg heavier
@@wickedleeloopy2115 T7 currently cost $20,349.00 @Peter Stevens
Which color do you think is much more attractive and how many liters of a box can be installed in the back?
The Tundra grey is most popular but both look good.

At this point i trust CFMoto more than KTM.
Πότε έρχεται στην Αυστραλία? Εδώ στην Ελλάδα λένε για τέλη Μαίου..

The feel of the clutch lever at the friction zone leaves a lot to be desired, IMO.
Be really, really interested to hear your thoughts on the bike as an average Aussie rider in real orld Aussie conditions!

They are still doing ADR test for registration here in oz.. that’s why we are all still waiting 😢
