- Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music presents this special performance by the Vanderbilt Wind Symphony. In fall 2020, the Vanderbilt Wind Symphony could only work in small groups and sections, because we were not able to play together all at one time due to COVID-19 safety protocols. Except for one afternoon in October...
In the only space on campus available for 50 musicians to safely make music together, we celebrated the joy of collaboration. Thank you to all our dedicated staff, the Vanderbilt administration and Athletic Department, our tireless student leaders, and all the musicians!
We share with you now the result of our efforts, this video recording of Julie Giroux’s beautiful Hymn for the Innocent, which we dedicate to the innocent victims of COVID 19 and to those impacted by social injustice.
