@@rachelrrb1111 Funny. A friend of my wife, whose husband was heavily 'into' Wayne Dyer's books way back when, used to call him, Wayne Dwyer! Would have been funnier if it had been: Dwayne Wyer, lol. When my wife pointed out his correct name she nevertheless continued to use the incorrect surname. She probably 'suffered' from dyslexia, now that I come to think of it. :(
This is beautiful - Wayne Dyer's "Your Erroneous Zones" was the first book to bring a positive change within myself (I read it about 1984), and Eckhart Tolle's "The Power Of Now" was the last (I read it in 2009). So good to see two of my favourite authors sharing the stage.
Oh dr. dyer, we miss you so much, I miss you so much. You will always be my #1 influential leader 😉 I love Mr. Tolle’s genuine laugh to Dr. Dyers jokes
If you are commenting about comparing these two amazing people, then you would have to read back on their books to remind yourself from the voice in your head (ego) that's creating all of these stories associated to either of these people. There is no "MORE" enlightened person (though this statement is sometimes used to explain a scenario) but ultimately there are no MORE enlightened person. Each of our journey is unique to us and can never be leveled, for scales is the concept of this 3D dimension, when really, we are beyond. We all can learn and grow from anyone, if we remember what Eckhart always say, by being present. It is a wonderful moment to be learning and growing with Eckhart and Wayne as I listen to them, but the same learning can also happen by interacting with people I know around our place or in school. But with that knowing I feel grateful and thankful to be made aware, that the spirit of life breathes everywhere by connecting to the spirit of Source within. I suggest (so you have the freedom to choose which path you shall take, anyway you will still learn through whichever oath you choose) we connect ourselves to the spirit within, smile, ground ourselves, be present, and appreciate the growth that easily occurred from watching this video. Namaste! :) :D
Eckhart Tolle puts into words what almost everyone I've ever heard , that's has His Passion for This Truth , really wants to say because He is not in This moment by Himself !!!! He is in that moment with OUR CREATOR 😇😇 His ability to do this is proof that He has Achieved a level of ENLIGHTENMENT that is VERY VERY RARE !!!! 😇😇
Guys, it's not a competition. About them.. Stop judging them and comparing them , this is not the truth.. It doesn't have to be someone better than the other one.. U accuse dr Wayne for exactly the same thing you do now to them ? Unbelievable! Spirituality is not a race and a black and white world .. Enlightens is accepting everybody the way exactly they are without labels and take whatever is best for u and become u highest version cause it's fun and liberating and not cause it's right... Its such a shame sometimes these beautiful talks doesn't inspire people in the positive way and they always find sth to complain or judge
As usual, great rhetoric! - Religion and spirituality are best left to the realm of speculations, for we won't ever be able to sort them out logically correct, for we simply lack scientific evidence. Thus, our concern should focus onto far more "down to earth" solutions on how to discover and realize quality of life by fulfilling three prerequisites: 1) Our capitalist society forces us to secure ourselves materialistically. I.e. to acquire a minimum of basic materialistic accessory, as to satisfy all our mental, emotional and physical "true needs" (our inherited, genetic default values). 2) Discover and develop our inherited mental, emotional, physical true needs, incl. our unique abilities and talents. 3) ...and the hardest bit: finding that elusive emotionally compatible partner... Well, these great charlatans didn't mention that, did they?
The difference between these two is, Dyer teaches what hes learned from others, always quoting and such, trying to reach where Eckhart is. Eckhart Tolle IS what he teaches.
quoting is being humble & honest (by pple like wayne, as eckhart does too), i love both these wonderful men, if u go 'compare', u seem to not get 'the messages' they really send out
I love Eckhart Tolle, but his teachings are very similiar to that of J krishnamurti. Not there's anything wrong with that...but it goes to show there is nothing new under the sun. That Doesn't take anything away from his teachings.
The difference..? You haven't been paying attention to what these great teachers teach, have you? Why do you compare? Do you also go out in a forest and compare trees? Leaves? Birds?
Help please, I live in South Africa and I cannot afford your currency. I missed the last hour of the movie. Is there a way that I can downloaded for free?? Mr. Please..
There are two kinds of people. The people who are talking, are for the mind. And the people who are akting and living - these are for the living people, the live, the beeing. Only who lives is really important and spiritual. The only person i know who did this was Osho. The rest only akting with the mind, are living a good live, from words, but never did anything really deep. Words are minor cuts, the will be gone fast. Akting are deep and the experience from that is staying forever
Dyer does think he is competing for some title trying to outdo Eckhart and what does he do? He talks about his Ego, that was HONEST and that reflects where he is at and what he has been looking for. Tolle explains how you must ignore that or else the Spirit is obscured and he is right, he speaks the truth from his EXPERIENCE, Dyer in TURN, (as if he is competing) because in his mind that is where he's at , he's EGO, he QUOTES A POET!!! why? because he doesn't have anything to conject into that conversation, then he wants to know how Tolle writes (comparison), and a joke "I'm only number 3". The other thing you can notice is notice Dyer cannot sit still or really listen, he looks like he's thinking about what he 's going to say next, he doesn't really listen to what Tolle just said because his response in quoting the poet had nothing to do with it, (just he has memorized enough greats to be able to spew out them at any given moment when he has nothing to say himself), funny that he could not articulate what Tolle just explained isn't it? OH and body language. Dyer cannot sit still, and he crosses his legs and fidgets, ever notice how still Tolle sits? That's another sign. Dyer seems to me to be full of Ego and insecurities (and the insecurities come from Ego). and this AFTER he is this "best seller" and multiple millionaire which strikes me as that is where all his confidence comes from not from any spiritual experience.
Dyer says "the ego is ALWAYS there"- that's HIS experience - but for Eckhart, it is dissolved and Dyer is trying to project his reality into everyone. I see the body language factor too- it's a reflection of what's going on inside. Peace or chaos? Eckhart is in total peace but Dyer is agitated and wants to go after laughs, applause, and validation for being "the relatable guy". What's funny is that the person who desperately goes after attention, barely gets it and is never satisfied but the person who is at peace and doesn't care about attention or where he is on the list or any concept about himself is effortlessly at the top of that list. It proves Eckhart's point- competition does not matter nor is important. Meanwhile Dyer is still not satisfied after quoting poets and whatnot. He then proceeds to the next problem of how Eckhart writes and a competition with that while trying to minimize and distract from his intense competitive energy by massaging his arm. It's good to observe though because initially with ego, we all do the same stuff! But eventually we must evolve to the state that Eckhart is in- life and the universe will force us to if we do not take initiative.
Such judgmental words in some comments below. Dr. Dyer was loved by millions and surely has his place among the best teachers of spiritual growth. Although even Jesus has his mockers. blessings to all, may we all be as enlightened as those we judge.
You have to take the culture into consideration Sara. American culture - generally speaking - is based an ego-driven, we-can-do-it approach. It is not necessarily a negative trait. In my opinion, it's another tool and you have a choice in the way you use it. All in all, it seems to be a great combination to put these two 'opposite' cultures together to inspire a mixed crowd.
How absurd that self-styled teachers should be the most spiritually influential people alive - compared even to the Dali Lama! What a crazy world we live in!
Eckhart tolle is always the same , but the other person is full of Ego. He says , he knows and jet doesnt know how big his Ego is. It is very easy to see from outside. No teaching quality in this talk. Such a pity that Eckhart mixing this american way of non Spiritual Entertainement show. Eckhart is waisting himself and his spiritual progress, with this type of Ego-Show business..
Dyer says "The old Ego it's ALWAYS there". That is HIS Ego. He doesn't understand Tolle at all. he's not enlightened. He THINKS he is the most spiritual person alive Funny that the Ego part is believable but the part that he says "my spirit says" is not believable at all, it's just his own Ego trying to tell himself to be humble. You can tell he doesn't get what Tolle is talkng about, if he were enlightened he would. His Ego is there all the time. Of course it is. and he is NOT the 3 rd most spiritual person alive, but he takes it that way.
No, he didn’t think of himself as enlightening, he was joking about himself and very down-to-earth! He isn‘t as attentive to the ego processes, as detached and deconstructive as Tolle, but would it be so great if both had exactly the same behavior?
Jesus Christ is the only Master and Lord. No need to endorse these fake "spiritual leaders", don't you understand that this has become a business that turns people in need away from God? Every week a new "teacher". Obey the word of God according to the Holy Bible and stop sinning in this way you'll have no conflicts and inner peace. You're not God and you can't save yourself, have the humility to acklowledge that and accept yourself as a simple creature
Wayne Dyer... will be sadly missed. Thank you for your teachings :)
