  • Our fives senses give us the capacity to know the world. When they are healthy, they give acuity and clarity, helping us interact with the world with energy and discernment.
    With Mercury Retrograde and this recent Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Vishakha Nakshatra, the star ruled by Indra, "King of the weather, of Prana, and of the five senses (the Pancha Indriyanis)", now is a good time to rejuvenate your five senses with these daily practices, known in Ayurveda as Dinacharaya.
    This is Part 2 of Nourishing Your Mind & Senses. Check out Part 1 for a very simple, nourishing internalization paractice (Pratyahara).

    Can you use organic sesame with Brahmi in it for the ears ? The same that would use for brahmi nasya ?

      I love Brahmi! The important thing is that it is sesame oil. Adding Brahmi is lovely. It is cooling, though, so best for Pitta dosha. Ears relate to Vata which needs warming. Usually an ear oil will have warming herbs or spices to it. But if you love it and that is what you have, better to oil the ears than not to. And the brahmi is so nourishing to the brain so, I'd love to hear how this goes for you. Thanks Fran.
