Tbh, Undisputed needs a few tweeks and additions to get on par with the stunning presentation of FNC. A more close camera that follows the action and helps with the overall feedbacks (like when you connect a hit or are close to a knockout), better TV/Cinematic rappresentation, and the additions of replays to showcase all that technological goodness. From there they only need to make good carreer and modes. That said, this is an Indie team that is now capable to compete with a major title of 10 years prior, and this is a great achievement.
Tbf as well the punches in fight night would look pretty similar to undisputed (apart from fight nights horrible uppercut) if you took out fight nights camera shake as it makes the impact look more hard hitting
Camera work, ambient lighting, ambient audio, intros/cutscenes, all appears to be better in fight night. Undisputed has better boxer models and details in graphics (of course since its newer). But it still needs so much work.
I think Undisputed has massive potential if they can take some ideas from what you see here in FNC it will be so good like if they made the punch animations just a tad more lose make the fighter look like he's putting something behind it especially the uppercuts and show the fighters wearing damage like black eyes and stuff more swelling, cuts ect also a ref in the ring and instant reply alot to work on but will be great if they implement it all I would say loosen the fighters up a bit with punch animation is a must
For us to be comparing a game that hasn’t came out to a game that came out over 7 or 8 years ago says alot about how great that game was. I was so excited about this game but the game isn’t even close to fight night. Looks to fake punches don’t even land smh
Footwork in undisputed is amazing and the toggle button to change the fluidity of it. Everyone in Fight Night moved the same as one another. People are blinded because they love one game so much
Footwork is definitely more fluid, but if someone punched the way they do in Undisputed, they’d be laughed out of the gym well before they stepped into a ring. Just a nitpick, however, I do think the boxers all stand a little too upright, even in their “tight” form. Footwork doesn’t mean anything though when nothing else is good about the game.
With all the big fighters nowadays having a grand entrances and elaborate robes and trunks. It would be nice to have a customizable entrance with pyro, lights, entourage etc. and custom clothing options. Just adds to the theatrics of the game of what can happen outside of in-ring gameplay.
The fact that we comparing a old ass game to a new one just shows they got a lot of work to do on esbc , it should be way more realistic movement in the game
The replays and everything are alot easier to perfect than the actual boxing system and flow of the movement. I think undisputed for early access is amazing. Obviously alot of work to add on but the foundations are solid to work on.
@MBryy they didnt de evolve this is early access and a smaller studio with leas budget and you can go compare video games to see they have not de evolved its just about budget
Keep it real Fight Night looks better undisputed graphics looks decent but Fight Nights punches and knockdowns looks more realistic even after all these years in my opinion.
@Gamer D undisputed looks extremely stiff, most punches in the video here I've seen of the punches look really stiff. No force behind them at all. Plus the movement
I love Fight Night and Champion was amazing. The graphics are still solid and the gameplay will forever be fun. I'm looking forward to Undisputed because it looks like they're working on giving us a simulation experience. Fight Night had this but not to the level of Undisputed in my opinion. I'm looking forward to a new boxing game in 2024, new fighters, arenas, and gameplay. I'm genuinely excited! I also think that for the fans that are being overly critical, they should have fun with what we're getting and to be hopeful for future games. I know that's tough because of how long we've waited for a new one. But, this game looks solid and a great foundation for future games. I think we'll have plenty of fun. Hopefully the sales and positive reviews will lead to more resources being invested on this product.
@@Thithithi39 you clearly can see fight night is better in terms of gameplay this isn't showing the glitches of undisputed or terrible animations, you have boxers doing splits and getting knocked out without getting hit but that's not in the comparison...
Great Video! Honestly you can tell the dated animations in FNC but the game was still years ahead of it's time. Undisputed is still in early access so who knows what that game will be like by the time it fully releases. There is a lot of room for improvement but the game is already decent in it's state. The nostalgia of FNC will always have people thinking it was a better game, but Undisputed is definitely a 10yr improvement on the boxing genre of gaming.
For everyone talking trash, this game is currently still in beta. That’s not even the final version of it. The final version comes out in October this year.
As of right Now undisputed does not have a record going 15 years plus strong. So yeah, fight night is better as of right now... Last time fight night was what's arcadie like was Nintendo 64. What are you talking about dude? It's a fighting sim
@@Flackside It aint a sim bro! The punches are tracked to hit the same spots on your opponent where as in Undisputed the punches aren't laser guided and you have to be at the correct range to land shots clean otherwise you can miss totally or land partially or smother your work. It's all your own work when you do land shots. Also you can just spam punches in FNC pretty much to win fights. Being a good FNC player doesn't always mean you instantly become a good Undisputed player. There is so much to take into consideration and many more ways fight in Undisputed.

They they can’t do it right don’t do it at all. They obviously don’t have the resources to make this game as amazing as it should be. Fight night is a decade old and still holds up better then most fighting games these days.
The fact the nostalgia got so many people lying about fight night is almost sad. Undisputed is a unfinished sim boxing game. Champion is a arcade finished messed that was good for it’s time. In real life every punch doesn’t have torque on it like fight night, the automatic punch landing is flawed every punch doesn’t land directly where it’s supposed to. Every fighter having the same exact moves out side of 3 just with different skins not realistic. Undisputed is the closest thing the boxing community has gotten to a authentic boxing experience.
One thing Undisputed completely neglects which is what makes the Fight Night punches feel so much more heavy is the CAMERA MOVEMENT. The camera is static no matter what, makes it look like nothing is landing.
After watching this it seems like not all the animations are bad. But it seems to be robotic when you mix up in footwork and head movement. It also feels slow. Still some work to be done
It's not that the punching is missing anything its just that Fight night has the camera shit with big hits that gives the illusion of strength.. it's just arcade racing games having unrealistic blur to display speed vs Gran Turismo more realistic take on speed.
Yeah, FNC was, but I only say that bcus it has yet to be bested to this day. Undisputed is going to be a flop. SCI doesn't listen to the community. And they've already made some weird, dumb design decisions.
After playing both, undisputed killed all my hype for it being a fight night killer. Guaranteed everyone is going to go right back once they deal with the shit that I had too. Punches don't track for shit so when someone's starts running it's over. No clinch nor shove no ref in the ring, punches sloppy as hell sometimes I can't tell if they landed or not because they don't move when hit
Tracking is unrealistic. This is a physics based boxing game. Landing the punches are down to you sorry there is no autoaim. Also you can clinch but they just removed it for the beta and they also removed the ref in the ring just for the beta it will be in the final game. The punches have improved alot but they still need work for sure
Punches aren't supposed to track. Do they track in real life? Lol like just close your eyes and throw a shot if you happen to be close and it'll automatically land with a 100% success rate? Haha nah fam. Fight Night Gs got to learn to play a real boxing game and finding the learning curve a little steep that's what's happening.
I agree with everything you said is crazy that Fight Night Champion to me is still a better boxing game and that was PlayStation 3 you would think they'll go all way out for PS5

And the camera shaking makes it look appealing to a casual player that doesnt watch real boxing. Undisputed is more realistic and grounded, but all these fan boys love that video game element fight night has. Where every punch is dramatic. I thought the punches were way better in FNC before watching this, turns out they’re actually not all that & undisputed actually looks way better in comparison! They only thing I think they need to improve on are the knockouts & flash knockouts they feel really slow sometimes
Idk. Something about this new game seems more like an arcade game. FNC was pretty realistic. And that's what I'm looking for in a boxing game. I wanna feel like I'm the heavy weight champion
Fight Night is still the Champion. Glad someone is making this new Boxing game though, and it won't have the EA trappings lumped in with it. Still a ways to go though from watching this comparison. To me it doesn't sell the impacts of the punches well somehow or other, even the more forceful strikes come across as taps. Then there's the knock out at 06:46 something didn't look right to the eye so watched it back at 0.25 speed. The punch lands then there's an eternity before the opponent reacts.
Undisputed so much better. The punches to the face looks brutal. Fight night champion punches are extremely Exaggerated. No boxers throws their punches like that unless they are going ham on a heavy bag lol. Anybody that thinks FNC punches look better clearly need to watch a boxing match lol FNC was a good game for it’s time but undisputed looks Soo damn better in every way
Undisputed needs to allow the the continuing of the the lock on to the head or the body after you knock someone out so you can continue to punch/pummel after the ko, just like FN did. That was an awesome feature among other features the game needs to include in the final product; also the KO replay.
Is fnc under cinematic or simulation presentation that could be a difference maker cinematic is dramatic asf and idk I only use it sometimes. I like the smoothness undisputed has but the punches do seem slow as hell and rather less damaging! But the footwork is crazy in undisputed hands down? Do they have the ability to change guards during the fight? I think I saw that somwwhere

To be comparing fight night against a game over 10 years later shows how ahead of its time it was and how lucky we were to play it. Bought that game the day it came out nd was bossing online back in uni days ha
I've had an xbox 360 at my computer desk for years, and only two discs have been in it in the last 6 years. FNC and FN4
We need a new fight night.
We need fight night champions on the switch lol
I think once EA sees how well Undisputed sells
There going to think about making a new fight night and pause the ufc games
I mean there's already 5 dam ufc games from EA
They can hold off on 1 for goodness sakes
Just need Fight Night to return. They are pros at making boxing games

To be honest the blocking system kinda has a Fight Night round 3 feel to it.
Good, because that automatic blocking to the head or body region is wack.
Fight night still looks better after all these years what a tragedy to not have another fight night from EA sports
I noticed camera movement during hard punches maybe they should try a shake effect to make punches seem harder
honestly i kinda like it without shaking, gives it more of a real feel
Yea they should add the option for those who like it. I like when the screen slightly zooms in even on jabs. Makes me feel it more.
Looks to fake punches don’t even land smh
great gameplay footage campaw!!!
Footwork in undisputed is amazing and the toggle button to change the fluidity of it. Everyone in Fight Night moved the same as one another. People are blinded because they love one game so much
100% true
Punches is way better in fnc
That's what I thought. Fast, impactful
Does the added zoom on impact make it seem so?
looks better in Fight Night, but it feels so much better in Undisputed
Way better bro, all the flashy flash movement and they screwed up the most important thing..
The fact that we comparing a old ass game to a new one just shows they got a lot of work to do on esbc , it should be way more realistic movement in the game
👍
The replays and everything are alot easier to perfect than the actual boxing system and flow of the movement. I think undisputed for early access is amazing. Obviously alot of work to add on but the foundations are solid to work on.
Love the page bro! Keep the great content coming!
Undisputed got alot of work to do

I love Fight Night and Champion was amazing. The graphics are still solid and the gameplay will forever be fun.
The final version comes out in October this year.
needs more atmosphere
and it seems more of a sim than a pick up and play arcade game
The crowd and ringside npcs dont even move or celebrate much
They're charging money for it. You don't get to do that unless the product is good. It isn't.
What's clear from this is, FNC=Arcade Undisputed=Sim
Most of you FNC players dont understand the fundamentals of boxing if you think FNC is better.
As of right Now undisputed does not have a record going 15 years plus strong. So yeah, fight night is better as of right now... Last time fight night was what's arcadie like was Nintendo 64. What are you talking about dude? It's a fighting sim
@@Flackside Uh... No lol Sim-Cade is thr word..
Also you can just spam punches in FNC pretty much to win fights. although undisputed has over a decade on fight night, it is also being developed by a small team with a much smaller budget. itll be interesting to do this again once the game has been fully released if that ever happens.
By the time the got it done , EA will already done as well with their new Boxing game. 🤪
Every word you just said, is exactly what ive been saying. Fight night is all theatrics. Not a real fight
truth
One thing Undisputed completely neglects which is what makes the Fight Night punches feel so much more heavy is the CAMERA MOVEMENT. The camera is static no matter what, makes it look like nothing is landing.
After watching this it seems like not all the animations are bad. But it seems to be robotic when you mix up in footwork and head movement.
It also feels slow. Still some work to be done
Undisputed REALLY needs to fix the punch impact. It just looks so strange like there’s no power or impact at all.
It's not that the punching is missing anything its just that Fight night has the camera shit with big hits that gives the illusion of strength.. it's just arcade racing games having unrealistic blur to display speed vs Gran Turismo more realistic take on speed.
Wrong the punches in fight night are driven from hip movement, whereas undisputed is arm punches
Excellent video/idea, although I'd like to see Undisputed vs UFC 4 too.
Bruv this game is ahead of its time💯
Yeah, FNC was, but I only say that bcus it has yet to be bested to this day. Undisputed is going to be a flop. SCI doesn't listen to the community. And they've already made some weird, dumb design decisions.
Tutto bello, ma quando esce?
Let's Go Champ 🥊🥊🔥🙏
💯, and fight nights visual are are up on you, which makes it look better.

The punches are overly theatrical in FNC, and Undisputed is a little too rigid. With that being said, Undisputed in moments is head and shoulders above FNC.
I thought the punches were way better in FNC before watching this, turns out they’re actually not all that & undisputed actually looks way better in comparison! They only thing I think they need to improve on are the knockouts & flash knockouts they feel really slow sometimes
For its time it was pretty good, still is actually. But undisputed looks far too stiff
Idk. Something about this new game seems more like an arcade game. FNC was pretty realistic. And that's what I'm looking for in a boxing game. I wanna feel like I'm the heavy weight champion
Round 3 is the king
Undisputed is way better
Also in the world of boxing there is a lot of holding at times. It allows fighters to recover, I did not see any in this video for both games
Fight Night still best boxing game even all after all this time.
I had no clue Fight Night had better Punches than Undisputed and not even close wow!
UNDISPUTED wins in Graphics, Physics and Movement... 💯
FNC has a more action arcade feel. Undisputed movements, animations and overall gameplay is better.
Undisputed has a lot of room for improvement to perfection.
