Let’s be clear why these protesters were removed. The Premier of Alberta said, these protesters must not be allowed to break the law and trespass. If Alberta had a NDP government, these protesters would have been allowed to stay for the entire summer.
Students and students union who just put out a ‘statement’ claiming this came as a complete surprise and the people getting into the officers faces have in interviews claimed they were terrified and this is the problem with anarchy any lie will do because they incorrectly believe if they keep repeating the lie even if they and we know it’s a lie they might get away with it and then continue to build on their lies.
Thank you for the Calgary police chief statment giving some hope 👍👍💯💯😄😄 am calling for Canada government to follow the Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) comment sense, that his policy regarding those pro-Hamas invasions in all the universities of Canada to bring back the safety and freedom of all student and professors in all the universities of Canada,
CPS must understand that it is not their mandate to use excessive force threatening our kids. Our kids in the university do not need to be threatened by CPS's guns or riot gears CPS must not plays politics!
CPS wasn't "playing politics", officers were doing their jobs: clearing an illegal encampment. In addition to providing warnings and ample time for protesters to leave, CPS also told them they could return to resume their protests another day - they just couldn't set up camp. Clearing the structures and not allowing overnighting is a safety measure.

Absolutely do not tolerate this foreign issue like Toronto does. Great job, CPS.
Well done CPS!
You and your police officers dealt with this situation very diplomatically, thank you.
Everyone should view how police/state police recently responded to the 'protests' in Amsterdam.

It's not private property, it's provincial land.
The university leases the land from the province.
@@zrig1 Yes, in other words, the property ultimately belongs to the province.

CPS must not plays politics!
Thank you! I also blame the University for calling in CPS to deal with the kids, knowing very well how the CPS usually behave in these situations.
