That is insane. Not just the reaction time but also the perfect reaction at the time. Could have easily lost it if he put too much lock on. Wow...just wow!
Kid really controls his car and is hyper-aware of everything around him, no wonder kid is fighting for the title even though he lost so many points in the first races.
The question people shoud be asking about reaction times is whether he responded to the red light quickly enough or whether on its own it provided sufficient warning. If the track had been blocked, then at that speed its just luck.
A lot of the good ones could. Theyre used to making super precise reactionary adjustments at high speeds. Alonso, Hamilton, and Verstappen I'm confident in. Theyve all got the combo of lots of race experience plus being calm under pressure
aside from his reaction, how his car still able to respond to that input? i know he's using super soft tyre but the amount of downforce needed for just move a car slightly without wobbling to much on the rear, was just insane
@@F1RandomVideos I have no idea who they are! I was only interested in the footage of the near miss anyways (thanks for posting). That was a very close run thing. If there had been even the slightest wheel on wheel contact that would've been a very ugly shunt in the tunnel at about 235kph 😐

Agreed. This track is not suitable for F1. If Ricciardo can win with a broken Renault powered RB missing 2 gears .... Maybe Porsche Cup works on this track ?

Reaction time at its best
Put this man in an F1 seat
Big respect! I don't think that any f1 driver can do that. That was one of the most epic moments on formula history.

Simon Lazenby and Naomi Schiff.
