  • Art shows and festivals are a great venue for artists to make a living selling artwork. I am beyond thankful for the life I have as a full time traveling artist.
My name is Evan Reinheimer, I am a full time artist. I travel the world using a traditional kite to lift my camera into the sky to create unique aerial photographs. This technique is called "Kite Aerial Photography." I exhibit & sell my artwork at art festivals across the USA.

Happy New Year Evan! Thank you for all that you share. Just a year ago, you gave me the motivation to "go for it" and become a festival artist. After a slow, and expensive, start with 3 shows in Florida. Then off to Chicago, NY, CT, MA and finishing up big right at home in NH, I had an amazing year, both in sales and experiences. Thank You!

Love to hear that, Jeff! I think we met in Ft. Lauderdale, correct? It’s a constant learning process that I’m still going through myself. Keep up the great work!

The drawing / sketching of planned images for photographing the scenes is interesting. This reminds me of the people who do story boarding for movies (almost like a comic representation of what certain shots in the planned film will look like.)
By the way, I enjoyed your Route 66 video from some time back. Though in actual fact, I reckon the Route 66 image displayed here at 4:47 looks better than when it was represented in that earlier video. I really like the angle and the composition of this image. Though in the earlier video, it was cut off in the left side of the photo (where that concrete curb is.) Though I can see where the print is hanging up on your booth (in this video) that there is some space to the left of that curb which makes it look so much better.
