Great review. I read a comment somewhere that said that the power is so weak it takes 30 minutes just to fry an egg. What wattage do you need to boil water to make spaghetti?

People sometimes use portable batteries to power hot plates such as when camping.
Induction cooktops also save energy since there is no heat transfer. Your pan/pot becomes the heating element, therefore, less wasted energy!
