It seems reasonable to assume that a unit that is wiped out in combat has lost and therefore its opponent has won, regardless of casualties
I don't know if it was what you were going for, but that intro gave me a massive BBC 80's Sci-Fi nostalgia vibe, like something from Blakes 7 or Classic Dr Who. Kudos!
Thanks. It was definitely a kind of retro vibe I was going for (especially with my limited skills) and was particuarly pleased to find a sound effect for the cumputer scrolling that is reminiscent of the "Mother" computer in Alien

And hello from the future! The latest version of the rules confirms your interpretation of morale at 32:30 is correct (a squad doesn't test morale if they destroy the opponent, even if they suffer more casualties than the destroyed unit)
It makes a lot more sense that way
Me and a mate are thinking of doing a campaign (refighting the Siege of Fenris) so this is just what the doctor ordered from one of my favourite channels!

Yep, I've turned the SFX down in the next one. Good idea on the Storm Troopers; the only downside to that is, I don't have any. I've been meaning to get some for a while though

Just seen this - great stuff, looking forward to see the rest of the campaign. Love One Page Rules, but prefer the Firefight rules for sci-fi. Must admit, not keen on the sound effects, but they're not a deal-breaker.
I love this style of report, and also when players show themselves doing a solo fight is really fun as that’s how a lot of gamers play now I feel! I love the terrain you can tell you spent a lot of care and time putting your board together!

Been craving a narrative campaign series, glad to see you will be fulfilling that itch, only one critique is the sound effects for shooting are A bit too loud for headphones.

I've just finished editing the second episode and for that one I have reduced the sound effects channel by 50% and also reduced each individual sound effect by a further 50% so hopefully it will be better for you. I'm going to be posting it next weekend; let me know how it works for you.

Regarding the morale tests they said its up to you but I guess yeah they won the combat so no even though they are below they are still alive so no extra rout test.

Human defence has so much fire power, but their shooting is crap. I've watched a lot of games, and I believe every single player playing them has lost. I wonder if it would be a good idea, for OPR to make some better shooting rules for just special weapons, like for grenade launchers. How in the hell do you miss with a grenade launcher, lol ?
Yep, they definitely need buffing characters and I think I should have taken the officer upgrade that gives a unit +1 to shooting rather than +1AP.

You had two ork units go in a row in turn 3, the jetpack orks then the boss, and you still had your hdf commander unit
Oops. The downside of playing by yourself is that there's less chance of catching those kind of mistakes.
How did you make those objective markers?

Great video man! love the SFX, just a note, I think the special weapons squad is a 5 Man squad
I thought so initially too but I'm using the beta 2.5 army list builder tool and in that list it is only a 3-man unit
Decimated would be REDUCED to only 10% of the total remaining.
I like the video so far, but I think the voice doing the orks is either to deep or to quiet.
