Meet MAT ARMSTRONG, and His Abandoned Supercar REBUILD Projects!

- Few can bring a car back to life better than @MatArmstrongbmx! I'm visiting Mat to check out his projects including the ex-supercar experience Lamborghini Murcielago, and recently accident-damaged BMW M5 Competition purchase. There's no taking the easy route with these!
Mat Armstrong's channel has been growing at an exponential rate thanks to his exceptional style and passion for working on cars to restore them to former glory and create something that's unique. With numerous well known projects under his belt, Mat has kindly arranged for most of the cars in his collection to be at the workshop together for us to take a look around. These include the likes of the Maserati GranTurismo Liberty Walk widebody, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Porsche Cayman S, Toyota GT86 and into the workshop to see the current work in progress; the BMW M5.
That's not all though, over at @MalloryPerformance, Mat's two Lamborghinis are in the shop; the twin turbo Gallardo and most notably his Lamborghini Murcielago. The latter is perhaps the most famous of the fleet having been presented as a car in disastrous state and in need of huge amounts of work. Having served most of its life as a supercar track day experience car, it's been beaten to within an inch of its life and the extreme project is now well underway to bring it back to former glory.

Was surprised that people didn't know him, I've met him at a car show and he's a genuinely good lad, took pics with my kids and his girlfriend Hannah is also very nice and friendly.
the best part about mat is he is a self made man, no rich parents or sponsors to hand it all to him. hard work pays off is a truth in his matter. no schemes, no hustle no fakeness just pure awesomeness

I'm stoked I found Matt a while ago, an absolute breath of fresh air... he actually gets stuff done in his videos. I thoroughly enjoy his content.. I love his approach of I would rather ask a professional to show me & do it myself rather than pay one to do it for me.. it's given me confidence to get stuck in on my old cars myself.

First video of Matts I watched was the S5 video, watched it on New Years Eve 2019, time has flown by.
Bought a 924S which had been sat for 10 years, spent 4 months resurrecting that, then bought a 2.0 924 which had been sat for 3 years which Ive resurrected. Definitely inspired by a lot. Both my first cars.

I met Mat at Gravity show 2022 in Warwickshire, top lad took pics with my kids and his Mrs Hannah even gave my son a free Kevin the Dog air freshener. One of the things that stuck out to me was when I said "it's a great show, great to see so many people, over the past few years with Covid it's great to see" Mat responded "absolutely, it's great for me to meet people, because I spend so many hours in my unit not seeing people and working on the cars" I thought you're a top lad and deserve all the good stuff coming to you.
