Having a puppy is like having another baby.
But it teaches responsibility to kids. A Labrador is the best dog for children. Labs love to play. German Shepherds are extremely protective. They will keep Jersey safe.
Nothing better than children and dogs together. A dog makes it a real home.

I think a dog would be good for the family at some points. Maybe when things start to slow down a bit, which doesn't look like is going to happen real soon. You all are so busy as a family right now, and a dog requires a lot of attention. But definitely would make a good addition when the time is right.👌😉🎈🎈
