The music when Rin was unlocking his ego was beautiful. They did the last EP, beautiful justice. Even tho the animation was inconsistent, I truly enjoyed season 2 no matter what. The story is so good.
This animation, this direction and this final soundtrack is what represents the blue lock manga in its essence and of course Isagi's scream when he scored the goal by "luck" was very gratifying. ❤
To be fair, in the manga we see the match where kunigami loses against shidou and we even see him entering the wild card, all the people who was reading the manga was actually waiting for his return by this point. I wonder why in the anime they chose to just make it look like he didn't make it, it felt cheap like you guys said, for one of the most important characters to be disposed like that.
No...? The reason is obvious, they wanted to make his return surprising. And it was for the anime only people. They're probably gonna show how he lost to Shidou and entered Wild Card in a flashback in s3.
Imagine the fact that Bachira surpass Aiku in flow state. If he only pass it to Nagi, I'm sure they will score since he clear most of the defenders already
The fact that it seems like Hiori and Aryu did nothing to you just shows how good of a play Kitsune and Chou did, they purposely switch their position so Aryu had trouble against the agile Kitsune and Hiori had trouble against the tall Chou
Here is the thing, by all accounts Rin is the man of the match , 1 goal, 1 assist and 4 saves , Rin was best performer in his team in offense and defense , Rin is logically the man of the match even with Isagi scoring the final goal, that's not an opinion it's just facts. the fact that the public put him aside is wild
Don't forget though it's more than just him scoring the last goal, isagi was involved in just about every goal the blue lock 11 made. His plays, and helping bring out the best in the team. Rin acknowledged it and so did Sae
@@i_lik3_to_drawofficial870tbf Rin was also involved in every goal, I'd say they're both equally MoM but Rin had more critical defense while Isagi had more critical offense and people focused more on offense involvement so he got all the glory

They didn't show the wild card thing and the kunigami shidou match in the first season and skipped it. In fact, after the Shido vs Kunigami match (chapter 88-89), Kunigami sees the wild card door while walking towards the exit door. (chapter 94) In other words, those who are eliminated in the 2nd selection can be offered a second chance, and the only person who emerges from there is kunigami, as we see in this episode. Most likely, to make this moment more surprising, they made it seem like there was no wild card door in the first season and there was only an exit door.

I think because sae is talented learner, and rin is geniuses.
Because sae hate geniuses, but this is my theory.
