This would actually be a cool idea for chapter 3, something where he continues off mommy's job, but I doubt they'd do it since they already had Kissy and Huggy as couple toys.

I still wonder what is that long metallic hand? I still remember when Mommy Long Legs said, "He's going to make me his part" or something like that. I didn't notice mich while playing the game, but I think that the metallic hand is collecting all the toys, and installing the other toys parts and make his own body. Something like Voldemort wants some blood and some body parts so he can create a body for him. As we can also see that we can only see the hand and not the body.
@Andhika Bagas Wirasatya it's probably the prototype like you said, when mommy long legs says "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, YOU'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!!" she probably means there's gonna be a new monster with other parts of the other monster's connected to him maybe, it could be huggy wuggy rebuild, I think that because when you go to pipes in chapter 2, you can see blood on them, but when you look very closely, you can see blue fur on the pipes as well, and when you look up a lil bit, you can see a hand making a blood print near a vent, meaning huggy survived, like why would we want to see the first monster in the game die? He's literally the first main character, the makers of the game thought it would be good idea to make the first monster, huggy wuggy survive the fall,
The prototype would maybe have some of huggy wuggys parts and maybe the head and arm of mommy long legs, the makers of poppy playtime maybe have said "hmm this game is getting popular quick, we should make poppy betray us and take us deeper down the toy factory to make people more excited, by making more chapters!"

So as we see in a poster of mommy long legs we see daddy long legs and BABY LONG LEGS! And in the final of the chapter 2 with a camera hack we can see a sign writted "playcare" where the train crashed, so will we meet up with baby long legs in the next chapter???, Maybe it was baby long legs who interrupted poppy while she was talking to us in the train (or maybe daddy long legs) who knows?

I think that Daddy Long Legs will be the Main Villain in CHAPTER 3! An interesting Concept would be that He is a supporting Charakter at First but later He finds out that you killed his Wife and than He hunts you down the entiry CHAPTER 3! There will be a Cutscene when He finds out and He says: "You are this Worker who killed my Wife are you not ... pity i liked you but I WILL DESTROY YOU JUST LIKE YOU DESTROYED her" than the first Chase Starts after you escaped him He Screams in agony:" YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE THIS PLACE THIS IS MY TERRITORY HERE YOU WILL NOT DESTROY ME AS EASY AS MY WIFE I WILL FIND YOU"!!
