And that can be more or less reliably translated into English in a few different ways including the way I translated it (though of course there's always something lost in translation). 🙃

As an American, regardless of political affiliation, this was beyond embarrassing.
As a Non-American, i can truly say that my expectations we're low, but not Biden-Low, that man stutters more than a child with PTSD and a severe stuttering problem

@@tjrex9458As an American my expectations of Biden were that low. His ability to perform have been in question since day one. That is, of course, depending on where a person gets their information from.
For instance, if one watches/listens to Joe Scarborough one would think Biden to be "top of his game", or, to be "the most alert" President one has seen.
However, if one listens to Ben Shapiro one would know the depths of Biden's cognitive decline.
And not just Shapiro has been pointing this out.
But those are only folks on tv/social media.
In the really-real World...where most of us reside, regardless of time zone, Biden's inability to be a leader has been a visual fact since before day one of his presidency.
Even those I know personally who are Democrats, or, left of center but don't associate themselves with the Dem party, have been acutely aware of Biden's medical decline. Both mentally and physically.
This debate simply pulled back the curtains showing how far the media has gone to lie about and for Biden's physical/medical state. They're the ones who were exposed. Because only now has that cowardly cuck Scarborough openly questioned Biden's ability to stay alive long enough to even run for a second term. As if Peoples all around the World, those without their heads so far up their asses they could willingly blind themselves from the truth, hadn't already figured that out.
That debate finally allowed the American Peoples to see their President unfiltered by the media's meddling. That's the true victory of the debate.
Biden is done. He'll never recover from this.

Trump's jabs were subtle. He let Biden's senile rambling speak for themselves. And then he would backhand Brandon. Legally it's almost impossible for the Democrats to replace Brandon. They said "Fact-check: We have never and will never endorse Biden." That Fact-check was probably provided by Brandon Judd. Biden made that claim before. The response then was "Keep our name out of your mouth."

The staggering part of this debate was that 32% of the people polled thought Biden won the debate.
I believe that's about the percentage of the population that's the hardcore base on both sides. 30% will never say the other person won, literally no matter what.
That’s an example of the Dunning-Kruger effect: 30% of people think they’re part of the majority.
I'm positive that 100% of that 32% didn't believe for one second that Mumbles won the debate. But their intense hatred for Trump, along with possession of tiny brains, made it easy to convince themselves that Mumbles won.
Probably the 32% that gets a booster every 6 months. Hmmm. Maybe there's a connection.

I’m a South African🇿🇦 and I am hoping that this “presidential debate”(if you can even call it that) was an eye-opening experience for the majority of Americans. The upcoming election in November is probably the most important election of this century. The truth is, the United States is a trendsetter because everything you do has a ripple effect on the rest of the world(I can tell from personal experience as I see it with my own eyes in my own country). We’ve known his presidency was essentially elder abuse for a long time, he has gotten really sick, gotten lost, fell down multiple times, forgets where he is and what he is saying and none of it is new. When the awful truth about his mental health was reported on centrist or right wing news, it was called a conspiracy theory, the rantings of MAGA loons, or "cheap fakes." They were lied to, and worse, they didn't want to be exposed to the truth.
But Biden's handlers pulled the stunt where he challenged Trump to debate in that ridiculous "tough guy" manner. It opened the door for the truth to be exposed in an environment in which they couldn't gaslight their base. Now Democrats who've been sheltered can't deny the reality. Hopefully, they'll also grow to despise those in the media who lied to them.
Regardless of everything else, I still find it outrageous that nobody could think of two more viable options out of a country of millions.

Not if it ends up with someone like Brett Baier or Neil Cavuto moderating. Remember the last time when they had Chris Wallace moderating before he finally moved to CNN? It was effectively two against one for the whole debate.
Did anyone else notice that immediately after the moderators introduce the event and I quote "there is no studio audience" Biden walked on stage, awkwardly smiled AND WAVED, and said "good evening folks". That was honestly the most telling moment of the whole debate.

The debate rules actually made Trump look better. People can't call it a "circus," can't attack Trump for name calling or interrupting. Trump stayed focused and responded to every attack making him look strong.
It turned out exactly as I expected regarding Trump and Biden, the cnn moderators is where I was surprised. They were decent to Trump.
They learned from the court conviction that unfairness only solidifies his voting base.
I actually think that is a huge deal that I haven't seen any commentator say anything about.
I seriously took that as the final acknowledgement that the MSM had gotten the order to stop covering for Biden and were going to let him sink his own ship so that they can replace him.
Sure enough this morning everyone from morning Joe, to the viewless, to Joyless Reid are suddenly saying that he should step down.
It had to have been a setup, there was literally no reason judging from his speeches, especially in the last year that he was going to have a good debate performance, frankly he did better than I expected.
I think the format of the debate also worked in Trump's favour because it kept everyone in check.

I'm not from the US but I have relatives there. I don't follow US politics much because I feel it doesn't affect me. My relatives in the US especially my cousins cried when Trump won the presidency, I heard and seen some news on but by God why would anyone cry over that. Like they were saying democracy is going to disappear, women's right will bo gone those sort of things. Then when Biden won they were like celebrating, they threw a neighborhood party and was so ecstatic. They said Biden will undo the damage Trump did. Seeing what's going in US I say to myself thought there would be improvement but that's just me I guess I don't know everything. Then after seeing this debate I was like holy guacamole cannon ball, Biden was America's saviour? Like dafaq his incoherent rambling made sense to people? I was literally watching my grandmother on that stage. She thinks that kennedy is still in office and she's still trying to find her old apartment that she hasn't lived in for 10 years. Yes my grandma had Alzheimer's and dementia and was put in a nursing home temporarily and id visit her and see other old people. I'm no doctor but I know the symptoms when I see it.
There's a lot of pride in being independent. And being a two-term president would be the culmination of his political career. So there would be some ego in play. It's like getting grandpa to hand over his car keys. Every now and again, you'll get some old guy who gets confused and drives through a shopping centre. I understand it. I have sympathy. My dad is getting to a point where he's either losing some of his mental prowess (or my mother is claiming that he is out of malevolence). He's someone I respect and love. It's not cruelty to see someone and appreciate they have specific limitations.

I'm not American and I don't pay much attention to politics, I don't even watch presidential debates in my country, but I had to watch this debate because everyone was talking about how crazy it was. And after watching it, from the bottom of my heart, I honestly say,
America, you're fucked.
As a retired hospice nurse, even though I am not a Biden supporter, I was very worried and tears at the beginning when he had that intermittent cough. All the jokes about pumping him up with “juice“ meaning, some kind of performance, enhancing drugs, they can also cause, cardiac issues. When somebody is having congestive heart failure whether mild or they have that kind of a cough. After a few minutes, he seem to settle down some and was able to breathe better and get more words out at a time. When he came back from the first break, he was pretty spot on and able to get a whole sentence out , was rather rapid like he was getting some kind of juice. But I can’t help but think they are just using this poor old man. It was well announced that Snopes has finally come out and said that the claim that Trump called Hitler and white supremacist good people was absolutely false. It was publicized the whole clip that showed how it had been manipulated and edited to make it look like he was calling them “ Good decent people” when he said they should be condemned. OBVIOUSLY NO ONE TOLD BIDEN-- Shame on them

I have gone back and listened to how each man answered/ did not answer the questions. Even though Biden did a lot of mumbling, he was actually presenting an actual answer to the questions. Trump spent too much time backtracking and left most questions unanswered. I have adult children who are professionals and they kept saying, “PLEASE just answer the question!”. Trump needs to stop with all the grandiose lists from the past that do not state specifics that can be proven. Remember in school when you had a TRUE /FALSE test- any statement that says “always” is probably a FALSE statement, so when CNN did their Fact Checking, it would only take a portion of any of his bragging to nullify the whole statement. He said nothing about child care, safe water, and he needs to educate himself better about full term pregnancy termination and have solid facts before even opening his mouth about that hot topic.
Put Joe out to pasture. Put Jill in prison for elder abuse.
This is honestly sad. As a nurse I feel for Biden. It feels like elder abuse, and I wonder if he has the capacity to fully recognise what’s going on 😅 those around him have a duty of care that they’re not fulfilling, and America will suffer for it
