Very interesting part, thank you. I wish RUclips would take notice of what you said... Had to watch 4 unskippable commercials while watching your video. You really do a good great, makes me forget my anger about youtube😔
Haha yes RUclips has changed the policy, for creators who aren’t in the partner program, RUclips is now adding ads on their videos anyway. But I will try to eliminate the un-skippable ads.
mini note: Shopify has a website template system and can be integrated into a CMS (WordPress) or Facebook for example. But as Squarespace, the websites are heavy and difficult for ranking.
Hi! I'm starting to embrace my greatest passion, oil painting, as my 2nd profession. After watching a lot of your videos (they are great btw! :) I've decided to build my artist website to use for: 1) showcase my work and myself, 2) sell prints of my works using a POD platform, 3) sell original paintings and 4) offer painting commission services. For this I was thinking to use squarespace with e-commerce features, use Printful as a POD platform and attract traffic using mainly social media (FB, Insta and maybe Tic Tok). I'm thinking of learning by doing how to handle the marketing and sales of my art. What do you think about my approach? do you see any kind of red-flags or major flaws? In any case, congrats for the quality content you are producing, it's inspiring!
@@VeryPrivateGallery Hey! thanks a lot for answering me, really appreciate it! Keywords? to be honest I didn't quite think of those, so I guess I have to do more homework - thanks for pointing it out! In any case, my style is realism with pop subjects from everyday life, apparently banal objects (eg a bus sign) or routine situations (eg some people enjoying a cigarette break, or a lady cleaning some windows), so I will think of some keywords around that. Theoretically I could take 12 full time months to dedicate myself exclusively to painting, but I prefer to be cautious and gradually invest time. My other profession is IT Freelancer (without experience (yet) on the SEO part though) so I can balance the 2 (at least for the moment). I am dedicating a steady amount of hours to painting every week and I constantly increase my speed of execution of the canvases. Also, my wife will help me with the marketing and sales (we will learn together) and I have some artists friends and we help each other. I'm actually quite excited about this :) can't wait to dive deeper and your videos are a great resource! Thanks again!
You are in IT? That’s great! Look into WP template (we use Divi) and research SEO tools like speed tools. It will make your marketing a lot easier! You will need a set of keywords to get free traffic, to track your progress and have some kind of KPI (especially team work). Ask a potential customer, how would he/she search for your art?
@@VeryPrivateGallery many, many thanks for the tips and perspective! will do all this for sure and will share my progress with you and the community :)
I am gaining a LOT of weight!!! Food in China is a crime! (We have a saying in Chinese media when a celebrity said “putting on weight is like a crime” for the guilt she experienced)
I can only do print on demand stuff , but still watching this woman. She is cute
Thank You, it is a very good video.

@@VeryPrivateGallery Yeah, let us profit even from everything, high end capitalism 😑
Super helpful, helped me to consider things I hadn't even thought of. Thank you!

That’s a good plan. What are the keywords you target? Do you have 12 months full time working time to dedicate to this?
